we are new to zoom phone , and our system go active tomorrow.  We have a few phones with an issue ,  we can't get pass the rebooting stage on the phones.  the phones go far as rebooting firmware then it reads unable to connect, bad url.  

 

I have spoken with zoom phones and they are unable to help with this issues.

We're new to Zoom phone and it's been great but there's one thing my users have been asking about, We have Polycom VVX311s and with our previous provider when you dialed an extension it would resolve the extension and display the NAME of the person you were calling. I dont know if this is something that's pushed to the phone by the provider or if it's a setting on the phone itself. It's not a huge deal, but multiple users have brought this up. When they dial an extension it's nice to know you got the right person and you didn't misdial.

Most of our office uses their Poly desk phones. A lot of people have asked if there was a way to disable call notification in the windows app because they wont be answering via the computer. We still want people logged in because we need the instant message feature.

Incoming calls from landlines

We went live on Zoom Phone a week ago.  We are having problems getting incoming calls from land lines into Zoom Phone - they continue to go through our previous provider's equipment.  Has anyone else had this problem after conversion?

I have a Polycom phone provisioned in Zoom. Since it is no longer configured on our PBX, so how do I reset the pin?

What are folks using Zoom Phone doing for those instances when calls must be received outside the commonly set business hours? There will always be a case when calls must be answered outside the hours of a standard workday. Are users forced to reset ... Show more

What are folks using Zoom Phone doing for those instances when calls must be received outside the commonly set business hours?   There will always be a case when calls must be answered outside the hours of a standard workday.

 

Are users forced to reset the hours set on their account to accommodate this?  I'm not seeing any other way but hope I'm missing something simple.

Apex and Frontier

Got a call from someone who claimed they were with APEX and working for Frontier communications.  Since I don't have Frontier my scam radar kicked in.     How do I protect myself from a possible slammer trying to port my phone numbers?

I am trying to test the process for assigning phone numbers to users via API, but I am not having success. When I try using postman "200 OK" response with nothing in the body. 

 

Attached are screen shots of what I am sending. Anyone able to spot what I am doing wrong or can send an example of a successful post?

 

Note: other API calls are working as expected.
