Resolved! Zoom webinar registration

Can I ask if Zoom has function to pick webinar slot (like 2pm or 3pm) and directly send to audience's email?

Is there a way to move the placement of the speaker bio on the registration page or otherwise make it more obvious? If not, please consider this a suggestion for future development.

Can I change the recording and Q&A settings of a webinar after it's been scheduled? Or will the changed settings only apply to webinars scheduled going forward?

If the changes only apply to webinars scheduled going forward, is there any other way to change these two settings once the webinar has already been scheduled and links sent out?

I can see the list of the attendees who have registered, but not the panelists. Yes, I can see the list of panelists I've invited, but I'm concerned some might be slow, confused, or slightly daft in getting themselves registered and won't do it right or at all. Options?

Also, are the email invitations to register different for the panelists and the attendees? I have a large number of panelists and want them to attend other sessions as attendees if they're interested, but how do I guide them in knowing which registration link is which or which registration email is which? Thanks!

Best,

Michelle

Hi,

We are using zoom to host a virtual conference.  Over the lunch period we want to keep the main room open for general chat while having a couple of breakout rooms people can join as they wish to video and discuss specific things.  Each room will have a looping video playing.

Can i administer this all from one account or will i have to have multiple devices setup to log into each breakout room to stream the video via screen sharing.  Im on a gigabit network so the streaming of a few videos wont be an issue, but cant seem to see a way without creating multiple accounts.

Many thanks

Dear Community,

I held 4 Zoom Webinars with interpreter last week, 1 of which, no. 3, went so wrong that I had to cancel it before it even began.

I had set up an interpreter, but she could enter as panelist only, I wasn't able to give her the interpreter function, and the Zoom popup told me that the interpreter (i.e., her) had not entered yet.
I then asked her for an alternative email adress and additionally entered that email adress as interpreter, and she received the invite, entered with that second email - same issue.

The next, and last, webinar then went smoothly, with the same interpreter and her same email adress (the one I had used originally in the webinar that went so wrong).

I have no idea what caused the issues in no.3, since I used the same settings on all four, as far as I can see.

I scheduled these meetings for my colleague, he was moderator, I was alternative moderator.

The interpreter told me that the invite (for the webinar that went wrong) was unusual, it began with "Helloname", instead of "Hello Name", the space between hello and her name was missing.

I am currently using a trial version of webinar.  Could this be the cause?

In a few days, I will be having a substitute for the webinar I had to cancel and I'm a bit nervous, especially as I wasn't able to find out what caused the issues in the previous one.

Thank you for your input!

Hi there, I had recently scheduled a webinar for my nonprofit to take place on Aug 24, not knowing that my purchased webinar plan expired on the 21st. I can still see my meeting when I log into the zoom app on my computer yet I no longer have access to the registrant number nor does it show that I have an upcoming meeting when I log into zoom on the website. I was wondering if my meeting will still be able to be good to go? I had set up the webinar before the webinar plan expiry date so I'm not sure if I'll still be able to host it.
