Resolved! Zoom Events: How to add source tracking links

Hi there, I could have sworn I was able to add source tracking links to my event last year, but this year I'm not able to find where this tool is located. Does this capability still exist for Zoom Events? If so, where would I be able to find it?

If you have a Zoom Events license, you have access to a fairly new feature called Backstage.  For general information about this feature, see this Zoom Support article.

There was a question on the Zoom Events Pros Facebook group about launching Polls from Backstage:

In Zoom Events can you launch a poll from backstage and the attendees see it?.. or do you need to be in the webinar for the attendees to be able to view the poll?

I answered:

I haven’t tested this specifically, but I believe you can launch a poll from Backstage. There are things you can’t do from Backstage: Share Screen to attendees, speak to attendees, show your video to attendees.

This morning, I ran a quick test just to confirm my answer. Here are a few screen shots, with the ultimate answer being, Yes, you can launch Polls from Backstage.  It really works just like any other Poll.

The Host was Backstage, and this is the normal Poll

The Panelist "on stage" (Zoom's terminology is "in the Webinar" -- a term I dislike, since we're really all in the Webinar!) sees this:

And the attendees see this:

Attendee-vMix Capture 28 March 2023 09-29-11.jpg

After stopping the poll, only the Host sees the Poll window, and when Sharing Results, the Backstage Host, the Onstage Panelist, and the Attendee all see the results similar to a normal Webinar without Backstage.

Hi there,

Putting this out there to the Zoom community.

We want to livestream a stage performance with one performer and we want to know -
1. What we would need in terms of a wireless lavalier type microphone to get the sound from that actor transmitted to the Zoom 'caller'?

2. If we had a remote camera with zooming capability (actual zooming in and out) filming the performance, could we somehow transmit that as the video portion of the Zoom call for this livestream?

Thank-you

Hello, I am looking for some information on teaching virtually using Zoom.  I'm a Zoom beginner and I know how to share multiple screens, but I want to know if my students can work simultaneously on their individual screens while I'm demonstrating at the same time.  Can I see each student's screen if I'm teaching 3 or 4 students?  I have 2 monitors and a laptop i will be using.  Thanks!

Hola . Saludos
