When creating an event that is "In Person" (This session will only be in-person.) the registration page still displays the following:
"Join this event via the Zoom client, web browser, a room system or the Zoom Room. Not sure if your device is compatible with this event?  Test My Device"

I have deactivated all settings in Meeting & Webinar and Webinar In-Session Settings however the text persists.

I have created a test event here:
https://events.zoom.us/ej/Aj3gto2qUWf6-dyjcbAU1DKpUq-_YXAg_gIeopD0k5ldTpYXhu9n~A9nvQI_8-RqCKRjR-AdSBexGl9QQ6kSYd-WULvFNl5H-WH5taa-pED7Zu9ODw

This will create confusion with the user expecting they can join the session virtually.

I am note sure if Zoom is doing anything about this, but when I contacted support, they told me all I could do is try to whitelist it on our server.

I pay for both Zoom Pro and ZoomISO (Liminal bought by zoom)... Currently, it limits to 720p, I don't use 90% of the features, not mail, calendar, cloud, essentials, whiteboard... etc. I have been told that in order to have 1080p, I need to purchase the 2700/year account for 10 licenses! I'm already paying $1067.84CAD as it stands for 1 user... Does anybody at Zoom find it bizarre that a freelancer who already pays zoom for what amounts to 3 users of the business level, uses none of the existing features nor the ones on the business level, get less quality?

Zoom Pro = $200CAD/year

ZoomISO = $867.84CAD/year

1 user for 720p = $1067.87CAD/year

Zoom Business = $270CAD/year (Requires 10 users) $2700CAD/year

ZoomISO = 867.84/year

10 users + 1 ISO user for 1080p = $3567.84CAD/year

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow us to segment the available options. No whiteboard, team calls, etc... just allow us to pay for full HD. We are the ones encouraging and using Zoom in professional and business environments. We are the ones trying to get governments and educational institutions away from MSTeams... Not all of us have massive production house teams that need to be provided accounts.

I am still unclear when or if I should enable Exclusive mode while on Zoom.

My setup is W11, simple USB audio mixer for mics and standalone speaker output, webinars using screen sharing, YT video via G-browser, and mp4 files.  What does Zoom recommend?  I've read a few posts and MS definitions but is still unclear.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am looking for a good budget microphone for webinars. ZDM-1 and ZUM-2 seem to be quite good according to the reviews but those who wrote the reviews used the mikes alone. In our case it is different. There is an announcer sitting in the front and a music group sitting at a distance behind. So I am not sure if these microphones will pick the sound (voices and music instruments) well from everyone and if everybody's level would be even enough (not that the announcer's voice is too loud and the singers' is too soft) .

Does anybody have an experience with such kind of webcasts and can advice a good microphone?

Hello,

I have an OnZoom event and I'm trying to connect Zapier to OnZoom so that I can create an automation when people register.  In Zapier, there are only Zoom Events and Zoom Webinar.  How do I create an automation in my email auto responder when this isn't available?

Thanks!

Hosting multiple practice sessions

Does anyone know if you can host multiple practice sessions on different days prior to the actual webinar?  I know you can host one, but just trying to make sure I can use the practice session multiple times.  Let me know.

Thanks!

We recently held a webinar event in which I wanted to share the On Demand link afterwards so people could watch it.  Tested it on my end and it all worked every time.  Let me know if you had the same experience or not.

1. People that registered before event and used the Join Now link from their invite email were asked for a passcode.  Through testing I found that the meeting passcode and the recording password were not the same.  So I tried to make them the same, but the Share passcode had restrictions on it so that it could never be the same as the meeting passcode.  So I had to send out the Share passcode to everyone.  Some still couldn't get it to work until they logged into their Zoom account, some got it to work without logging into their Zoom account and some never got asked for a passcode at all.  Used the original registration link from the webinar invite.

2. People that Registered after the event experienced some being asked for the passcode and some not.  Logging into their Zoom account seemed to help the passcode work.  The Share passcode did not work in all situations.  Used the original Registration link from the webinar invite to register.

3. If I gave people the Share invite link directly from the recording, then it bypassed registration altogether and went to the recording. They still needed the passcode and it is unclear if logging into their Zoom account helped.  However, when I use the direct Share webinar link, they are able to download the recording even though I have that ability turned off.

It would be great to have a video on how On Demand should work with for end users.  The instructions are pretty good with configuring the settings, but I wasn't sure I was still sharing it correctly and what the end users were expected to do and see.  This feature definite needs to be available to people that do not have a Zoom account or are not logged into their account. I had all authentication settings off.

Please let me know if anyone else had this issue/experience.  What things did you try? How do we get this feedback to Zoom support?

Feel free to test it out.

Log out of Zoom if you have an account.

Click on the link below and see if you are asked to register and/or enter a passcode.

If a passcode is requested, it is PTSA2022!

1. Webinar registration link: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_dpfzU6ElQuGyadqeZ2OiUA

We want people to register to see who is watching it. But we don't want a passcode different from the meeting registration code.

2. Share Webinar link: https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/HL1HO5a_AYb-0J6YEBdSnoZihcnnsQcDpo1y1sE6H2YR7-MY9xSMLGjYMCo3nWqt._n9-DdX-Bytw9lFH

We want registration, but this share link bypasses registration.  Downloads are available even though I have it turned off in the Share settings, and the passcode doesn't work for everyone.   By chance does the share link change every time I open it to get the Share link?  Seems to change but not sure what to expect.

I've already created a custom video filter to display an image at a fixed position on the screen, e.g. for a company logo.

Now I'd like to create a custom video filter where the graphics move with my face, to give me e.g. a clown's nose or a sorcerer's hat. Basically like the preconfigured filters (e.g. 'Head Chef', 'Bunny rabbit', 'Daisy'), just with my own graphics.

I've tried to just drag my new nose graphics in the middle of the head symbol in the dialog to create the filter - but it's just stuck in the middle of the screen, and doesn't move around with my face. How can I do that?
