Zoom Workplace Simplification is Zoom’s latest initiative designed to create a more intuitive, unified, and efficient experience. It focuses on streamlining how users interact with meetings, chat, phone, and collaboration tools—allowing teams to work smarter and faster within a single, cohesive workspace. This initiative supports Zoom’s ongoing mission to reduce complexity, enhance productivity, and deliver a seamless experience across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. Zoom has introduced a cleaner, more modern layout that makes it easier to navigate between Meetings, Team Chat, Phone, Whiteboard and other Zoom products. The refreshed design reduces visual clutter and helps users quickly access essential tools. Core communication and collaboration tools—Meetings, Team Chat, Phone, Mail, Calendar, and Whiteboard—are now brought together in one unified app. This eliminates the need to switch between multiple applications or browser tabs, improving workflow continuity and saving time. The Zoom mobile app has been redesigned to provide faster access to meetings, calls, and messages. With a consistent design across devices, users can transition smoothly between desktop and mobile without disruption. Zoom’s built-in AI Companion now plays a more central role in everyday work. It can generate meeting summaries, prioritize voicemails, assist with scheduling, and provide intelligent suggestions—helping users stay focused on what matters most. Both administrators and end users benefit from clearer settings, easier configuration options, and simplified onboarding. These improvements make it faster to deploy, manage, and adopt Zoom Workplace across teams. A new problem seems to have come up, possibly due to installing Zoom update 6.6.10 on Windows 11. When clicking a URL meeting link, Zoom says I need the Zoom app, and offers to download the app instead of joining the meeting. I click the download link it shows and it downloads a small Zoom opener. I run that and then it joins the meeting. A session on the Zoom chatbot help said to uninstall and reinstall Zoom. That worked, though I had to reinitialize both Firefox and Edge to accept URL links to Zoom.
After I installed update 6.6.11, the problem came back. This time I simply downloaded and ran the full installer, which solved the problem. After several years of updating Zoom nothing like this ever happened before.

I am trying to turn on the meeting summary in AI companion, but on my account settings it says 'locked by admin' i did not have the function to turn it on during the meeting. Zoom help is not helping, can anyone guide me as to why this is?
Where can I find my recording? I just had a meeting, started and stopped recording a couple of times, at the end of the meeting zoom usually asks me where I want to save the recording. today... nothing.
Where can I
When I share my screen, the overlapping parts turn black. I want to avoid this. Please tell me how to avoid it. I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad X13. Thank you very much. ---------------- Solved. The problem was that the graphics card driver provided by the computer manufacturer was outdated. The problem was solved by applying the latest Intel driver.

I have recently bought a new laptop for work, which I use exclusively for Zoom calls. The following problem had never occured before now. The new laptop is an Acer Extensa 215-55 with Windows 11 Pro. As soon as I start any meeting in Zoom on this laptop (even if I am alone and silent), any videos/audio recordings I play on the computer get audio distortions. Specifically, when I start the trek, the sound gets choppy, voices come through okay, but any additional sound in the background of the trek, such as laughter, clapping, etc. becomes barely audible, any music in the trek becomes completely inaudible. If I share the screen with the other people in the meeting, they can hear the same quality of audio I do, so barely anything. I need people on the other side of the call to hear these recordings in good quality, music and added sounds included, not to mention I need to hear it myself just as well. Some people I have calls with also don't speak very loudly, so in their case Zoom does not pick up their voices at all at times, which is an even bigger problem, as I can't hear them now. This does not happen on any other call programme. I have: - updated Zoom to the latest version; - in Zoom settings put on 'original audio for music performers' (I also turn it on in every meeting after that); - in advanced Zoom settings switched off any Windows sound correction; - checked that my sound drivers are on the latest version as well. None of this has helped to improve the situation even slightly. At this point I feel like I have tried all the settings I could find in the system. I cannot use another programme, as my workplace uses Zoom for meetings exclusively. This is greately interfering with my work. On a side note: my old laptop was a Windows 10, and never had anything like this happen. However, I asked a colleague at work to reproduce this on their Windows 11 laptop, and they had no problems with audio like I do. I would appreciate a concrete solution. Thank you in advance.

We are changing some roles in our organization, and I will no longer be hosting a series of repeating webinars that I have created templates for. I would like to copy those templates to another user in the same account, who will host the webinars. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this without deleting my account. I don't want to delete my account, as I will still be using it for other meetings. It seems like this is something that we should be able to do. Is it, if so, how can we do that? Thank you in advance for any guidance.

The option to use avatars and filters has disappeared from my desktop client. I checked that they are enabled on my account, and when I host meetings others can use them, just not me! The only options are for virtual backgrounds and studio effects. I did sign in and sign out in the desktop client, and uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom. I have not switched computers (using Windows 11), although I moved a month ago and do have a different internet provider.

I am getting frequent invites to zoom sessions that I have not requested, signed up for or otherwise asked for. The invites are coming from zoom . I do not see any ability to unsubscribe in the invite. want to stop getting these eMails, please let me know how to do that. FYI, the support chatbot turns 'Unsolicited Invites' into 'Heres how to invite someone'. All I want is to stop receiving invites from this source.
