AI meeting summary did not work

I have enabled the AI Meeting summary and it did not work.  At first I thought I just couldn't find the summaries but I did locate the folder and there is no summary there.

We have encountered a significant challenge in tracking the timelines within the Meeting Summary using the AI companion. Is there any possibility to get the meeting summary with timelines as this is particularly critical for us like Major Incident Management Associates. The AI companion's inability to accurately capture and present timeline data from meetings is impacting our incident management process.

Upon the conclusion of a meeting, we get the AI Companion Summary (which we love), but it doesn't include the attendees or some field that we can use to link this and import it or add it to the CRM system.

We have explored multiple ways to get the AI Summary on the Contact in FreshSales, including Zapier, which currently doesn't support this.

The only solution we see is manually attaching the AI Companion Summary to the Contact in our CRM.

We looked at the Zoom Workflows and then using Zapier to put it on the account.  We would forward the AI Companion Summary to a designated email address, and when we forward, we would include the contact's email address in the body that should be put in our CRM.  Then Zapier would run this into the CRM.  This still requires a user to remember to do this, and at that point, they might as well manually attach it to the CRM.

Has anyone done this successfully?  If so, how did you do it? Do you have any suggestions or ideas on other approaches?

Thanks in advance.

"Everyone has that dreaded work task they’d rather push off to the next day (and the next, and the next). For some people, that task is business writing: drafting emails to clients or prospects, sending project updates, or even just writing up a meeting agenda for your team. If a blank email draft or chat window immediately puts you in procrastination mode, or if too much of your day is spent composing messages, AI writing tools might be just what you need to tackle your to-do list."

What AI Writing Tools Can Help With ✏️

  1. Saving time on the first draft
  2. Repetitive or tedious writing tasks
  3. Striking the right tone
  4. Inspiration and out-of-the-box thinking
  5. Saving your creative brainpower

I participated in a meeting where the usual host was not present and so someone else was chairing.

The meeting is usually summarised with Ai companion and Meeting Summary function by the usual host. But the stand in did not have the feature enabled on his account.

Despite this, I "requested" that they enable meeting summary for this meeting by just clicking the button on my side. This showed it had sent the request, and then the Ai star was visible throughout the meeting as usual.

Prior to the end of the meeting, the original host left, and the hosting was handed to me for a further 10 mins.

When I asked the stand in host to access the summary that was made (as he was the one who enabled it for the meeting), he said he hadn't enabled the settings for Ai Companion yet, and that when he went into the account section where summaries are stored, he was just greeted with a "this feature is not enabled, speak to admin" or similar message. He has since enabled the feature on his account, but no meeting summary has arrived thereafter.

Has this summary now been lost to the ether, or will it be retrospectively distributed to his account for him to be able to share with us later? Or, as I was host for a time as well, should I have access to it? It's also not shown on my account.

(update, the actual message he received was "Unable to view this meeting summary. The meeting summary feature has been disabled by your admin.") but I know this is not the case, as we have all been able to enable the feature, so in this case he is the admin for his own account. My question still stands. Now that he has enabled the settings, will the meeting summary be made available or is it gone forever.

Hi everyone!
I'm new in the Zoom Community.
Recently a provider send an AI summary of our Zoom session to me and I'm considering the possibility to use it in my services.
My question is:

Is it possible to have a AI summary if I didn't set up AI companion in the session?
Or this is not possible 'a posteriori'?
I would love to see the accuracy of the summary checking with previous recordings with clients.

Thank you in advance for your answers!

We are highly doubtful about the use of AI. These machines are not only energy-drainers, they are data extractors, and necessarily affect communications in myriad unwanted and unexplained ways. There is zero evidence that the power they offer will be resisted by the companies that build them or deploy them. For these reasons (and deeper more philosophical ones) we are preparing for a world in which computers have become unusable. We rely on Zoom for a very large part of our participation in world affairs, so it will be very sad if Zoom has to go. But if we cannot function AI-free, so be it.
