Hallo, ich würde gerne die AI während des Meetings dahingehend unterstützen, daß die spätere Zusammenfassung besser wird. Also evtl Stichworte schriftlich oder verbal geben. Vielen Dank

As a Customer Success Manager, I often see users get excited about Zoom AI Companion's ability to summarize meetings—but many don't realize that we have a powerful feature that makes those summaries perfectly structured for common meeting types. Using these pre-built templates can instantly improve your workday. You can, - Boost clarity and accountability for everyone. If someone missed the meeting, they can instantly absorb the key takeaways. Using the Project Update template, for example, makes the risks and ownership immediately pop, ensuring accountability without anyone having to hunt through dense paragraphs.
I'm talking about Zoom AI Companion’s Pre-Built Meeting Summary Templates. While creating custom templates requires the separate custom AI Companion add-on, every user on Business, Business Plus, Enterprise, or Education accounts, can now leverage the excellent pre-built templates Zoom provides for free! It’s the easiest way to elevate your post-meeting follow-up.
Here's a look at the 9 pre-built templates to structure the AI Companion's output to match the intent and outcome of your meeting, ensuring key data doesn't get buried in a general summary.
- One on One: Great for coaching, check-ins, and performance reviews. The summary will capture what was discussed, how it impacts the employee's development, and—most importantly—who owns the next steps.
- Stand up: Ideal for those quick daily or weekly agile team huddles. The summary gives you a concise snapshot of the team's momentum, immediate challenges, and what everyone plans to tackle next. It's built for speed and clarity.
- Brainstorm: For when you're generating ideas, concepts, or solutions. It documents every idea generated and then immediately structures the resulting follow-up tasks. It seamlessly bridges the gap between raw thought and concrete execution.
- Project Update: Use this for status checks, milestone tracking, and risk reviews. The summary highlights current status, key milestones (achieved or missed), identified risks, and clearly assigns ownership for future tasks. It's your single source of truth.
- Discussion: For general, open-ended conversations or debates where the goal is sharing knowledge. You get the whole picture of the conversation, especially any points that need more thought later.
- Q&A: Perfect for town halls, webinars, or knowledge transfer sessions. The template it generates matches the questions directly to their official answers, giving you a comprehensive record of every inquiry and its resolution. It ensures clarity on what was settled and what needs follow-up.
- Customer Success: Dedicated to regular client check-ins and relationship reviews. The summary creates an organized record of the customer's status, performance metrics, service gaps, and all the necessary next actions to keep the relationship strong.
- User Feedback: Use when customers or internal users are providing input on a product. The template captures and categorizes all the problems, pain points, and suggested improvements, turning user comments directly into prioritized, actionable tasks for your product team.
- Lecture Summary: Best for formal training sessions, classes, or presentations. It creates an organized, educational record of the talk's substance and intended knowledge transfer, making it easy for attendees to review and grasp the key concepts.
- Say goodbye to post-meeting housekeeping and get your time back as it will eliminate the manual step of moving and reformatting text. Just select the correct template and it will provide a structured summery. You skip the cleanup entirely.
I’m excited to hear how these templates transform your meeting documentation. Feel free to share which built-in template are you most excited to try first, and what custom template ideas are you playing with? Let’s keep sharing those AI Companion tips!

I don't want the AI companion attending my meetings. I've switched it off in multiple places all over my account, and yet it pops up as a participant every single time. My meetings are private, I don't want any other parties listening in. It's a massive security black hole. It's so annoying to block it manually for every single meeting.
How do I uninstall it, when it was never installed in the beginning. I went through the AI support, and everything it suggested is already off.

As a Japanese administrator using the Pro version of Zoom on Windows 11, I'm trying to utilize the AI companion feature. However, the side panel, including buttons like "Catch me up," is displaying in English. Despite having set all language options, including those in the taskbar and app settings, to Japanese, the side panel remains in English. Could you please advise on how to switch the display language to Japanese?

I've had my pronouns (She/Her/Hers) saved in my profile for months, but AI Companion is still misgendering me to 'he/his' in all of the meeting summaries.
How do I get it to pick up my correct pronouns?
From my searching I gather the answer is no, but is there any setting where I can ensure that meeting summaries from AI Companion are with English spelling, instead of American English? It adds to necessary editing time of the summaries when I need to change all of the incorrect spelling.

I have enabled Zoom AI Companion as the owner of our account. I would like to only allow this add-in for one user to test before we offer it house wide. How do I select which user's can have this option enabled to start?
I'm not sure what I did but for the last few weeks every time I am on Zoom, a voiceover announces when each guest in the meeting is sharing their screen, or has entered and left the meeting. I searched for how to remove AI companion in Zoom and followed the steps but my account showed that it was never enabled..???
Is there another reason why my Zoom is announcing everything that happens in the meeting? It's embarrassing and I don't want to have to switch to another meeting provider but it's coming off as unprofessional.
Also, when posting this in the Zoom Community, your topic fields have not been updated to include AI companion in case you want to troubleshoot issues that arise with that.

I noticed that when "auto_start_meeting_summary" is set to false, the recording is not started.transcript_completed webhook event doesn't get fired. And I don't see my transcript in the UI under Recordings and Transcripts > Transcript. Is this intended? I can get transcripts via the api https://api.zoom.us/v2/meetings/{meeting_id}/recordings. Why is it that not enabling a meeting summary prevents a transcript event from firing?

If you are having a pre-meeting call with a colleague and you switch the AI feature on (lets say to help with transcripts), it then caches all speech from them on. Any new joiners to the call get to see everything you have discussed. We tested it this morning with colleagues joining and leaving and new joiners were able to get a precis of everything that was said for the previous ten minutes before they joined. Are you aware of ways to avoid this (aside from not activating the AI feature)? Thank you
