Here on Debian 13 I have Zoom Workplace version 7.1.0(3715). My desktop comes from LXQt.When I launch the client, a small input window appears, with the instruction, “Type or paste link”. I recognize this as a user-input element normally found on the screen that comes up when I select “Join a meeting” on the main startup screen. But this little input window comes up prematurely. It doesn’t move when I try to reposition the initial screen, and it just stays in front of all the other windows as long as Zoom is running. I don’t expect to see this at all, so this feels like a bug. I tried completely removing my directory ~/.zoom and then reinstalling the client, but the problem persists. Suggestions welcome … thanks!

I use Zoom to organize and host meetings for working online with students from Ukraine. Since my IP address is currently Polish, the automatic 40-minute limit waiver for Ukraine does not apply to my account.Could you please review my situation and consider temporarily removing the 40-minute restriction for my account as an exception?Thank you for your understanding and support!
I have been constantly struggling with Zoom syncing my profile picture from gmail everyday. I have to attend a lot of demo calls and I feel uncomfortable with my profile picture being present. I have tried deleting it from my Zoom account, but it keeps getting back on my profile. Is there a solution for this?

Hi.We are using Zoom calendar integration with our on-prem exchange 2016 and have encountered the following problem.When a user attempts to create a meeting in the Zoom Workplace, a service selection window opens. The user selects Exchange, which then opens Outlook, where the user enters the meeting details. The meeting then appears in the Outlook calendar and in Zoom. However, Zoom displays the meeting as if it was created by another user, and therefore it cannot be edited or canceled.Why does a user-created meeting in Zoom's calendar appear as if it was created by someone else? Or it is by design?One detail (I don't know how important it is): User logs in into zoom by it’s corporate email, which is something like user@company.com, but when uses configure calendar sync he use company login, which something like user@domain.local

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing an issue with Zoom Workplace Desktop 7.1.0 (Windows).Before updating, I was able to use Zoom's Live Transcript ("Show Captions" and "View Full Transcript") in both the main meeting room and breakout rooms. Since updating to version 7.1.0, the transcript only works in the main room. As soon as I join a breakout room, the transcript is no longer available, and I can't view or save it.I'm a participant, and this has happened across multiple meetings with different hosts, so it doesn't appear to be specific to a single meeting or account.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known bug in Zoom Workplace 7.1.0, or has transcript support in breakout rooms been changed intentionally? If there's a workaround, I'd really appreciate hearing about it.Thanks!
I wanted to trim the last three minutes of a Zoom cloud recording. I thought I was supposed to mark the part of the recording to “Trim”, instead I only have remaining those 3 minutes that I didn’t want. I looked for guidance and could only find advice that I was supposed to return to the video and click on “restore” there is no such option. I have now lost the entire recording except for the part i don’t want! How do i get it back?

My virtual background app was working on my pc, my ipad and my iphone. I don’t know what happened but it no longer shows the many virtual backgrounds that was available on the app. I’ve gone through troubleshooting with the virtual agent and it was unable to solve my problem. The option for virtual backgrounds is enabled and I’ve already disabled, refreshed, and re-enabled it but it didn’t work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the zoom app on my desktop. I’m signed out of all my devices and only have one signin on my pc. I’ve checked the C:\Users\ABC\AppData\Local\Zoom\data and there is no virtual background to delete. I’ve tried clearing zoom cache and none of these have worked. I am on a free account and can’t submit a ticket. Please help! I am out of options.
If I start a meeting as the host the only way so far to get invited people into the meeting is through a link I would need to send to them. Why can’t the invited person just use the zoom app, click join meeting, than enter meeting ID, than enter passcode for meeting and hit enter and wait for host to let them in to join a meeting.
hi all,i am trying to capture 2 digit input using “collect Input” widget and input type as input capture. i am storing this info in a variable.logs show correct dtmf getting detected but the condition widget always end up with condition “no match”.i have tried both var type as integer and sting. for condition i have tried format a 22, “22” “2\2” but no luck. any one experience with collecting 2 digit input?i can get it to work fine if i use collect input type as menu but then i can only use 1 digit.
Hi,Since the latest update of ZOOM, I don’t see the “badges” or numbers of unread messages in my taskbar (Windows). Before You could see a red number on the ZOOM icon in the Taskbar if you had an unread message. Now it’s just blinking for a moment.If you see a message coming in, it looks like it want’s to set a number as notification, but instantly it’s changing into a red dot and after a second, the dot is also disapearing. Is this a common thing in the update? Or is it a setting somewhere else? Or is the feature not working anymore?If I roll back to previous version, the number above the icon is working when having unread messages.ThanksVincent

opened zoom for a meeting on Friday but the meeting would only appear as a miniwindow in the zoom spot on the task bar. I had to keep my finger on it to keep it open. I could hear the meeting and everyone could see me as usual. Usually clicking such a window opens it up but no. I downloaded zoom workplace several times to no avail and even closed down the whole computer and started over. No. I tested it out several times later that day with friends setting up meetings. Still the same. Any ideas anyone? I have another meeting on Monday evening and am quite worried. Thanks

I have automatic cloud recordings on, and I definitely heard the meeting say “This meeting is being recorded” automated line as well. This meeting began recording at 11:58am pst, and ended approximately at 1:02pm pst. I have not been able to locate the cloud recording, nor does it appear as “processing” in the zoom web portal under cloud recordings. Are any engineers able to diagnose/investigate to make sure the recording is processing, just taking time?

Tenable is flagging the latest version of Zoom Workplace (7.1.0.41345) as vulnerable to CVE-2026-6276 due to the version of libcurl installed 8.17.0). I’ve tried asking the chatbot and the support line to provide an official response that there is no patch available with no luck. Can anyone from Zoom make a definitive statement I can provide to an auditor that there is no fix available for this claimed vulnerability, or confirm the vulnerability does not apply?
