Clips

Hi everyone,When dealing with browser-based video playback and real-time media streaming, maintaining smooth frame rates and low latency across different hardware configurations can sometimes be challenging, especially when heavy UI overlays or custom client-side layouts are active. For developers or technical teams testing browser video rendering performance, what are the best practices for leveraging hardware acceleration effectively in web clients to prevent high CPU spikes during extended sessions? Would love to hear how others approach optimizing smooth media rendering and responsive UI design in browser environments!

I recorded my meeting to my laptop and it converted.  However. during the playback the video does not play in conjunction with the audio.  For example:I was showing a basketball clip and was narrating the action but the audio did not match what was shown on the screen during the meeting. The audio stated, and here we see the ball is tipped but the video is motionless. Thanks for any suggestions.

Use Case:I am a student musician. I need to record myself playing instruments over backing tracks that are provided by the instructor. PC audio is piped into the aux channel of an amplifier that the instrument is also plugged into. The combined signal is recorded through a high quality studio microphone positioned in front of the amplifier, close to the grille. Zoom Version Number: 7.1.8Steps Taken:I have double checked all of the settings. I’ve check the input level of the mic, the output level of the amp. When I record in Clips, it sounds completely useless, with the majority of the signal dropping out. I have ensured that:Original sound for musicians is enabled in settings. High-Fidelity Music Mode is enabled in settings. Echo Cancellation is disabled in settings Under the Advanced tab: Echo cancellation is set to Auto (it cannot be turned off on this screen) Windows System Audio Enhancements is disabled Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers is disabled When starting

Has anyone experienced this?[01-Sep-2026 19:37:45 America/Regina] Zoom API add_clip_collaborators Error | clip=gVW3QDLBSAO5lo85woyo5w | Status: 400 | Body: {"code":7001,"message":"Unable to share the clip, you have reached the daily limit of 5 external shares. Is there a way to require users to insert their name and email before viewing a zoom clip? Or requiring them to log into zoom before viewing? Right now all the viewers are appearing as "Guest User." This would help me monitor who is viewing my zoom clip and who is completing the recording. Thank you!

I run customer research interviews over Zoom and process transcripts programmatically (via Claude/AI tools). After each  interview, I extract key quotes with exact timestamps and want to save short clips of those moments as permanent Zoom Clips to  share with stakeholders in Notion.  The current manual friction:  The Watch Highlights feature auto-selects moments I didn't choose. To create clips from my own extracted quotes, I have to: open  the recording, deselect all of Zoom's auto-highlighted moments, then manually hunt for and select each of my timestamps. This  is the most tedious step in an otherwise automated workflow.  What I investigated:  - The Zoom Clips REST API (/clips) only supports uploading video files — there's no endpoint to create a clip from an existing cloud recording by specifying a time range  - Watch Highlights has no API surface at all — it can't be controlled or pre-seeded programmatically  What I'd need to automate this:  1. POST /recordings/{meetingId}/cli

Dear allPlease help me to as the service desk could help me with a file recovery that was deleted from trash.I need this recording as its super vital for me i did it 12 MArch 2025 . Yet the service desk is limited by process and procedures and see no option but to say NO. So I want to ask commuinity are there an option like in onedrive to go back in recover files that were deleted during last 30 days from trash bin? thank you

Is it possible to reorder the clips that have been added to a Zoom Clips playlist?

Someone help me access my video

We’ve run into a limitation with Clips and Zoom Video Management. Currently, it is not possible to hide the transcript panel without also disabling closed captions. We have an instructor who would like captions to remain available for accessibility reasons but does not want students to have access to the full transcript. Their concern is that transcripts can be easily copied and pasted into AI tools to generate summaries, allowing students to bypass engagement with the video content.Zoom recently introduced an option to hide transcripts within embedded videos, which is a step in the right direction. However, the embed still includes a direct link to the clips page, where the transcript remains accessible. As a result, students can still view and copy the transcript despite it being hidden in the embedded player.Has anyone found a workaround for providing captions while preventing access to the full transcript?Rob Keys

Hello I had a zoom video - i trimmed but trimmed the wrong portion of the video - how do i get the original back?

I wanted to trim the last three minutes of a Zoom cloud recording. I thought I was supposed to mark the part of the recording to “Trim”, instead I only have remaining those 3 minutes that I didn’t want. I looked for guidance and could only find advice that I was supposed to return to the video and click on “restore”  there is no such option. I have now lost the entire recording except for the part i don’t want! How do i get it back?

Is there a way to edit how a link looks when shared?  It currently looks like a zoom meeting link to be in a zoom link.

Hi   Are Zoom Clips recordings using the same cloud recording storage space, just like ordinary recordings from meetings and webinars? That is eg. 5GB available for Pro licenses is shared between all stored recording types? Or maybe it's currently using some additional, unlicensed space?   I'm curious since it's not precisely mentioned anywhere.   Cheers Lukasz

I have recorded a few Clips with Zoom, where can I locate the recordings on my PC? They do not appear to be in the meeting recordings.

Wondering if there is/will be pathway for Zoom Clip features to be distributed as a tool in a candidate application web portal (React, Salesforce Experience Cloud etc.) for the candidates to record response to interview questions asynchronously.

Hello — I’m really disappointed with Zoom Clips lately. Since the most recent update (around [insert date]), none of the features seem to work as expected.I record clips, but when I share the link with clients, they get an error when trying to download or view them. We are absolutely sure the sharing settings are correct.I’ve lost multiple important clips — they simply vanished from the library, even though I never deleted them. This is very concerning.I relied on Zoom Clips for delivering training materials and client deliverables. Now I have to re-record everything or switch to another tool, which is a huge time sink.I tried contacting Zoom support, but only got boilerplate responses or referrals back to community forums. That doesn’t help when I have paying clients waiting for content. If Zoom wants people to trust Clips for professional use, these issues need to be addressed immediately. I’m asking:What backup/recovery options exist when clips disappear? Why are clips not accessible

Good afternoon! We had a webinar for 3 days in a row. I downloaded the conference recordings from the cloud. On the first and third day, the recording quality was poor, but on the second day, the recording quality was good. I need the recording quality to always be good. How can this be done?"

One recording has been stuck in a "Trimming in Progress" state. It's been like that for more than a year. Want to delete it to claim some space, but there is no option to delete it. How can I get it done? There is no option anywhere to submit a ticket or something.Thank you for any suggestions.

I am trying to gather consolidated data about clip viewing statistics; how many views, how many unique viewers, and completion rates - in a bulk format.  Is there any way to pull this data besides going into each individual clip and viewing the statistics tab?

I've been recording zoom clips all morning to send to my clients. I finished one recording and It came up with that error and now all of my recording have disappeared. I've tried everything and even recording from the past month are all gone. How do I get them back ASAP

All my clips disappeared. When I try to contact support it says my account is Basic and for that reason I cant contact support except for reading the community, when my account is supposed to be a paid account (the last payment was 4 days ago and successful). in my main profile online it says my account is "Workplace Pro". When I try o creating a new "Clip" id doesn't save it after I record. In the clips area it just says "No Data".What is going on?? How do I get my clips back??

I have an account *******@gmail.com, where we regularly make some clips for our clients! And now they are gone! We have never placed them to Trash or Bin. In all my accounts of admin account I dont see my clips (nothing in the trash) Help please! It is urgent!
