My Notes

I’m trying to use “My Notes” to save the transcripts of my meetings with clients. It is saving the transcript but, when I try to export it, only the title goes, not the transcript. I am able to export the summary, though, with no problem. Can anyone help? I’ve followed all the steps I can find on the internet to resolve this issue but, nothing is working. Thank you in advance!
When I try to export “My Notes” from a meeting, it lets me export the “summary” with no problems, but when I try to export the “transcript”, it only exports the title of the meeting without the transcript.I’ve tried all the solutions google has found for me but none of them worked. I’m hoping someone can help me.Thank you.
Pretty self explanatory. It would appear that Zoom has recently taken away the ability to copy and paste directly from the “My Notes” section in the desktop app and web version. This is a minor gripe, but does completely throw off some workflows for me since it’s much faster to just copy and paste a transcript into other programs once a meeting concludes vs waiting for it to upload and process to then download the transcript. As you can see in this screen shot, the text above the transcript can be copied, but the actual transcript won’t allow copying. I am on the latest version of Zoom. Why would this stop working and will zoom admins please restore this feature?
Unable to save transcripts in zoom meetings. Additional details from testing: • My personal Meeting transcript setting is enabled. • Allow saving transcripts to computer by is enabled. • I ran a new test meeting after enabling these settings. • The transcript is generated and visible in My Notes/Zoom Docs, but no Download button is available. • Expected result: as the host, I should be able to download the raw post-meeting transcript. • Allow hosts to view and manage transcripts after the meeting is not available in my personal settings.VERSION latest , OS : Windows 11 , Device : Windows Lenovo .
Until yesterday, I could reliably download meeting transcripts (as a .txt file) from the transcript/summary screen in the Zoom Workplace app (Hub/Notes workflow). Today, the download option is gone, and the transcript text can’t even be highlighted for copy/paste—despite the transcript still being viewable. This change breaks a workflow I’ve used for months to archive transcripts and move them into our documentation systems. If this is an intentional policy/security change, it needs to be clearly communicated and controllable by admins. If it’s a bug or regression, it needs an urgent fix.In addition to removing the transcript download option, the transcript viewer now prevents basic text selection— I can’t even highlight the transcript to copy/paste it into another document. This blocks normal documentation and compliance workflows where we need to move transcript text into our own systems. From a user perspective, this feels like a deliberate restriction that pushes people toward using
Until yesterday, we had the option to download the raw transcripts from Zoom calls. Today, it has disappeared. Was it removed or moved to a different location?
Hi. I’m the account owner and host, and I already enabled all the AI Companion and transcript settings in the Zoom web portal. But inside meetings I still can’t enable transcription or My Notes. It keeps saying that the feature “has been disabled by the host” even though I am the host.I create meetings using my PMI. Previously, note transcription would start automatically as soon as I joined the meeting. I could see and edit the live notes/transcript while me and the other participant were talking. Now, nothing starts automatically when I enter the meeting. I only see a greyed out box that I can’t click. And when I press “Open My Notes” Zoom says: “Host has disabled note transcription for this meeting.”I haven’t changed any settings on my side, and all AI Companion / transcript settings appear to be enabled in the Zoom web portal.Do you know what could be causing this?
I’m not able to generate meeting transcripts and meeting summary, while my license is there for AI summary.
Hi Zoom team, we’re looking to integrate with the Zoom Notes product and wanted to confirm whether there is currently a public REST API available for accessing and managing Notes data.
In Zoom Notes, I see the live transcript during meetings and the note indicates a transcript exists afterward. When I click Done, sometimes the transcript is available quickly, but other times I get “Transcript is unavailable” or it takes 1–2 days before it appears. This happens both in the Zoom desktop app and in the browser. The note content can be summarized, which suggests transcript data exists, but the download/transcript access appears blocked or misconfigured.
I have been using the my notes feature for non-zoom meetings. Until this week, I was able to view transcript and summary. Sometime this week, I can see that the notetake transcribe the meeting correctly (I can even assign names to speakers successfully during the meeting) But when I click “DONE” and go back to hub / my notes, the entry for the meeting is present, but the transcript is empty, and therefore there’s no summary. Anyone else seeing this?
Transcripts stopped working, after working for weeks for My notes. I use Zoom Workplace MacOS Version: 7.1.0 (83064). In the WebPortal, my settings remain unchanged. Enable My Notes = OnTranscribe my meetings with My Notes = OnGenerate and enrich content with AI = OnAuto-save recordings of non-Zoom meetings in My Notes on mobile = OnEnable desktop notifications for My Notes = OnGet reminders to start taking notes when the microphone turns on in enabled apps. = OnEnable email notifications for My Notes = OnAllow everyone (including host) to transcribe meetings with My Notes = On This is a selling feature of Zoom. I hope it can be resolved before deciding to use another method.
Does anyone know how to get the ‘export’ menu item to show up?I’m trying to export my meeting summary to a .doc file and i can’t see the export option. Any idea on what settings i need to enable?
Hello,I am a Zoom Pro subscriber and I have lost ALL the content of my Notes completely. Here is my situation:I can still see the titles of my notes, but all the content/transcriptions inside have completely disappeared I had many notes linked to past meetings that I had not yet processed The Trash is empty — nothing to restore I have only one single Zoom account I did not delete anything manuallyThis is a serious data loss for me professionally. These notes contained important information from client meetings that I cannot recover any other way.I have already tried:Checking the Trash tab → empty Checking account settings for Notes feature → enabled Logging out and back inI need urgent escalation to a technical team for server-side investigation and potential data recovery. Can a Zoom employee or moderator please help escalate this case?Thank you.
