I want to be direct with you: renaming Zoom Docs to "Canvas" is one of the most confusing product decisions I've seen from Zoom, and the people who are going to pay for it aren't on your product team.Let's start with the obvious. Canvas is the name of the dominant learning management system in higher education. Instructure's Canvas LMS is deployed at hundreds of colleges, universities, and K-12 institutions across the country, including ours. You have now given your document collaboration product the same name as a deeply embedded, category-defining platform that our users interact with every day. The confusion this creates isn't theoretical. It's immediate, it's real, and it lands squarely on IT and support teams who were already working hard to drive Zoom Docs adoption. The timing makes this worse, not better. Instructure's Canvas platform was at the center of a significant data breach just weeks before this rename rolled out. You could not have picked a worse moment to attach your pr
Working in Canvas to create a spreadsheet that is easily shared where multiple people can work on it at once is extremely helpful. Not being able to export all tables within that spreadsheet is not. Please add an “export all” option for the whole document instead of making us export each sheet individually. At this point it’s more time efficient to continue creating these spreadsheets in Excel where people work on them in turns.
Okay… so forget the title of this topic! With a little more experience, I’ve determined that Toggle Headings is indeed “a thing” in Zoom Canvas… it just works a bit differently. The issue is really just in my head: I’ve been fooled by Notion into thinking that having the ability to create a Toggle Heading is a good thing. But the reality in Zoom Canvas is much, much better: Every Heading is a toggle heading! You don’t create a Toggle Heading specifically when you want one. I’ll say it again: Every Heading is a toggle heading!Simply create headings at the appropriate levels. A Heading Level 1 in Canvas will show the triangle when you hove over it:See the “Click to collapse”. Clicking on that at the Heading 1 level give you this:Now if I click it again to expand, and then click the next Heading 2 item, I get this:Only the first Heading 2 Subtopic is collapsed and the remaining/succeeding ones are left expanded. If I click the first one to expand it, and then hold down Control when I
Is there a fix to print a clean-looking Zoom document with a header that includes a data table? I've printed and distributed a PDF with a data table from Zoom Docs on Chrome for the past four months. Recently (last week), the data table has been pushing itself 1 page down from where the header of the document is. No matter what I try, using different web engines, computers, deleting cookies, or changing print settings (page size, borders, scale, etc.), nothing seems to work. To add to this, the new PDF export also doesn't support data tables. If anyone has a workaround for printing a PDF with a data table, I'm all ears. All I know is that it was working two weeks ago, and now it's not.
I’m trying to save an Excel sheet in My Docs, but when I do, it saves as ‘Sheet 1’ instead of the name I gave it. How can I change the file name so it saves correctly?
I’ve noticed in the last few months that when I use the GCal integration to add a Zoom link to an event, it automatically adds a docs.zoom.us link for a meeting agenda. It adds it in an uneditable field, so I cannot delete this link, even though I don’t want to create meeting agendas via Zoom docs. This is confusing for my attendees as they can’t find the actual agenda, which I put in the description field. Is this a setting I can turn off?
Hi folks…I tried the Zoom AI features a few days ago, and was impressed by the transcript and summary. I then downloaded and shared the MD files (date was 2026-04-16).I tried to do the same thing today, but now there’s no way of exporting the files. What happened? 🤷♂️
Hey everyone,I’ve been attending a lot of long Zoom meetings lately, and honestly, it gets hard to stay fully focused after a while 😅I wanted to ask — what are your best tips to stay productive and engaged during long meetings? Do you use notes, turn on camera, take short breaks, or something else? Also, how do you avoid distractions when working from home during these calls?Would love to hear what actually works for you guys 🙌
I want to create a shared folder and give users access to it by user group, with permissions based on that user group for example:User Group A - Co-Owner User Group B - Collaborator User Group C - View OnlyThe shared folder should then appear for all users in the respective groups, with their access determined by the permissions assigned to the user group. Is this possible? If not, I’ve been mis-sold.
1. Reason for Rollup Reference Limitations in Formulas & Future Support RoadmapIs the current inability to reference a Rollup column within a Formula (resulting in a #REF! error) an intended architectural decision designed to prevent performance bottlenecks (e.g., cascade updates) or circular dependencies? We would appreciate clarification on the technical reasoning behind this limitation. Furthermore, are there ongoing optimizations to address this, and if so, when can we expect this feature to be supported in your roadmap? 2. Schedule and Roadmap for Zoom Data Table API Re-releaseAccess to Zoom Data Table API endpoints is essential for our external automation and system integration plans.Could you please share the specific schedule or roadmap regarding when the Zoom Tables API will be re-released or made officially available to developers?

I've started using docs but want option to back them up offline for in the case of an account compromise or similar disaster scenario. Is there a method or any plans to add a method to do this? If there was an API for docs I could probably do it myself.
A doc that has always opened in zoom from a link is now opening a window asking for new sign in when zoom already opened. It may have to do with a password change after apparent hack into my login but not happening with all docs.
Although I can embed videos directly uploaded into Zoom Docs, and YouTube videos, I don't think I can embed videos I have published into Zoom Clips. I can link to it, but I want to be able to embed it. The option to embed is there, but I don't think it works. When I embed, I see it in my Zoom Docs. But when I try to view a published Doc, the video isn't embedded there, and that's where I want it to work. Any ideas? Is this possible? A feature request? A bug?
Hi Zoom Docs Team:It would be a major improvement to be able to (optionally) include a breadcrumb navigation element on zoom docs. I can manually create one now . . . but I would prefer that it be automated to keep the links connected properly. It would look something like the navigation you have on this forum:
Добрый день! Я не могу найти инвойс по списанию суммы в декабре. Подскажите пожалуйста, как можно продублировать инвойс на рабочую почту.
We have client meetings with Zoom so I think it would be convenient to use Docs to do that. I am trying to use the Docs sites for documents sharing with a client. It's a total useless experience -- after i spent 1 hour to search the "download" button with a share folder created and a test document uploaded. There is NO "DOWNLOAD" button, and the online editting for an EXCEL file is next to impossible. So, how anyone would be able to use this site for anything? I tell my client “hey the documents are sent and shared on Zoom Docs under the share folder (and here is the link….), but you can not download or edit anything usefully”? You wasted my time and money. Now i need to tell my client “we’ll find another solution other than Zoom for the project sharing”….Whoever is the product manager of this product (Docs) should be fired immediately….
I have a Zoom account for my own business, so I know how to manage Zoom Docs—including saving and accessing them—if I set up the meeting.During a meeting on another company's Zoom account, I created a new Zoom Doc - I was first asked if I wanted to sign in to my account - I replied "yes" and signed in to my company's Zoom account. I designated the Doc as "private" (I wonder if that was my mistake). I forgot to copy the Doc and save it on my computer. It seems that the Doc I created no longer exists. I thought it would be saved to my Zoom account (since I signed in, as described above), but the Doc is not in my account. Thanks for any insights you can provide.~ MarkP.S. I read this Zoom article: Managing Zoom Docs; I'm using Zoom desktop for Windows, Version: 6.5.3 (7509); Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100.
Is there any formula to count unique cell values? I will use this for docs dashboard.
Hello Zoom team and community, I’d like to request two enhancements for Zoom Docs that would significantly improve document security, data governance, and collaborative workflows: 1. Password Protection for Zoom DocsIt would be extremely helpful to have the option to password-protect individual documents. This feature would allow creators to restrict access even if a link is shared more widely than intended, adding an extra layer of security for sensitive or confidential information.Key benefits: Prevents unauthorized access via leaked or forwarded linksAdds an additional access-control layer beyond workspace permissionsHelps organizations comply with internal security policies and external regulations 2. Record-Level Permissions for Data TablesFor teams that use data tables within Zoom Docs, the ability to set role-based permissions at the record (row) level would be transformative. This means different users or user groups could have restricted visibility or edit
Hi, I'm trying to set up a project plan in Zoom Data Tables, and can't find a way to make dependent tasks. For example, if row 1 had an end date of 10/10/25, I would want to make the next row's start date of 10/11/25. Is there currently a way to configure this, or would this be a feature request?
We have created a roadmap that we intended to share across the org. As a result, I set the General Access to "Anyone in the account company ltd".Although they could access the link, I've noticed that they cannot search for this in Zoom and the document doesn't appear when searched. When I send a share link they can access and view again. Is this intended behaviour?
I use Zoom docs daily and find them quite useful. Most of the time I'm not interested in using covers, but they are helpful in some cases. I understand that I can upload custom images to use as page covers and that the maximum size is 20MB . . . but that is literally the ONLY information I can find *anywhere* about working with covers. Is there any documentation available on this? It is clear that images resize and scale dynamically but it is not clear how this works or any suggestions on how to create headers effectively that will look as intended at various sizes. Is there a Zoom Docs documentation resource that I don't know about?
⁉️ How can we use any Tools, AI Companion or whichever, to generate content from my previous, Post Zoom meeting when Admin did not select on transcript? Thank you YR. ⁉️We need to get transcripts generated from a previous zoom meeting we had. We unknowingly did not include this AI feature. crazy sad 🤪🥲. HELP! Please advise ☀️⁉️
