After searching diligently thru prior conversations for annotation controls, I've run across things like this: In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.Click the Meeting tab.Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Annotation is enabled.I have no idea what the navigation panel is (there's nothing labelled as such), and I'm unable to find anything called "account management", "account settings", a "meeting" tab, or an "in meeting (basic)" item. I can locate "Settings" under the "Zoom Workplace" menu, but nothing in the resultant window refers to any of the above, let alone annotation controls. I don't want my users scribbling all over my screen during my presentation, but I can't find any way to turn off that ability. I'm running Zoom on Windows 8.1  daily for several years without almost any issue and I've just updated Zoom to version 5.16.1. This version redesigned the annotation tool bar. It's great you can place it vertical but now I have a problem: I can't change the size of the text as I used to do it in the previous versions. Is this problem a bug in the new version or there is a way to do it that I don't know?  Please help me solve this issue. 

I use Zoom to connect with long distant grandchildren.  We also like to play games using the game room concept of several sites such as,  https://buddyboardgames.com/ and https://playingcards.io/ .  We play these games in a separate window while in our Zoom session.  I believe the structure is similar to Kooht, which Zoom has recently added as an extension but I have not personally tried it.  I use the whiteboard to do joint drawing with one my grandsons.  We can also play games like  Tic Tac Toe and hangman.  Incorporating some of the game rooms we currently use in separate windows into Zoom would make it even better.  While Zoom is focused on supporting organizations, it is also great for staying connected with grandkids and other long distant friends and  family members.&nbsp

I've been using the Zoom Whiteboard (not the physical whiteboard) on my computer with a Wacom drawing tablet.  Unfortunately, something has changed and now my penstrokes are being eaten and replaced with dots.  I believe this is some kind of double click detection or some other gesture. Here I try to write the especially problematic letter "F" 7 times.  It failed each time.Here I tried to write the simple equation "y = mx + b"And here I wrote the alphabet and "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" without corrections.Each of these was done with Windows Ink active and has a

In larger companies with more than five hundred employees, it becomes challenging during meetings to immediately understand who is in the room. It is often unclear whether a participant is a product manager, an engineering manager, a quality analyst, a developer or someone from a commercial team. This creates confusion at the start of many meetings, since we sometimes spend time trying to figure out people’s roles rather than focusing on the discussion itself.Right now the only reliable workaround is to search for each name in Slack, open profiles and check their role. This is slow, disruptive and does not scale in fast paced conversations.A solution that would allow participants to reveal their role temporarily during a meeting would be incredibly valuable. I am subscribed to Zoom and have the package allowing me to use up to 3 whiteboards. This has been working really well ever since I started using it, over a year ago, including pasting images (using Ctrl + V) and inserting images and documents of multiple pages. Today I allowed the Zoom update, and I can no longer paste or upload anything. I get a note saying "Exceeded capacity" and the image disappears/does not remain when I next open the whiteboard, nor can members on my call see the images. What has happened? Obviously, I deleted lots from my whiteboards to hopefully allow for more space, but alas, it continues to tell me that I have "Exceeded capacity". Help. 

Hello everyone!The first time I used Zoom and Workspace in my Laptop (in 2023), the Zoom software was downloaded and installed by a literate-Linux system friend. However, once I updated the Zoom version (2024) and my aforementioned friend and to downloaded and installed the updated version, my Zoom Workplace was no longer ready to use it. For that reason and since then, I have to join my Zoom account through the Zoom Web interface.The worst part of it is that: the Zoom always asks me to join my Zoom meetings through my Zoom Workplace and sometimes it simply does not allow me to join any Zoom meetings. It is really bothering. I am about to cancel my Zoom account.Do you have any suggesting I could do before I proceed to cancel my Zoom account? Thanks.

I have only 1 whiteboard showing in my whiteboard tab, the trash is empty as well. So I am definitely not beyond the 3 editable whiteboard limit. Still the whiteboard won't load beyond 50%. I have been trying for a week. Weirdly enough, even when I am not the host and someone else is sharing a whiteboard with me, it still won't load. Not even read-only whiteboards. 

When tring to adjust uploaded voiceover for 6 slides, I see only 4 after choosing adjustment option. Have sombody similar problem?

Hi everyone! I would like to use a Wacom drawing board (or any other one, I don't care which one) for the whiteboard feature during a zoom call. I DON'T want to share my scree, but really use the built-in whiteboard for video calls. Does this work with a drawing tablet? And if so, do you have a recommendation? Thanks for your help!Nina

Please, I need to go back to the classic version of the old whiteboard because the new one is not working properly, actually, I can't use the new one because when I start the whiteboard my connection fails and this only happens when I try to use the new whiteboard. I'm using a whiteboard from another app, and it's not fair as I'm paying to have all the tools on Zoom. Can you help me to go back to the old version?

Hello, In using Whiteboards is there a way to lock objects so participants cannot adjust them but still allow the participants to edit or move other objects?  I teach classes and I want my students to be able to use a whiteboard template to manipulate certain objects but not change the template items (move, resize, certain objects).

Wondering if anyone can help with this nagging problem when annotating or writing on a whiteboard in Zoom....!Problem:  Annotating, writing or drawing with any stylus on any Whiteboard or on any shared document begins normally but after about 5 minutes the stylus begins to fail, or after about one-half page of writing or annotation.  Then the character images of my pen/stylus begin to flicker and skip on my touchscreen, until the pen is soon rendered unable to write at all. What I have tried: I have tried two different pens--same problems.I have tried at least two different Whiteboard apps--Microsoft Whiteboard, and then changed to the native Zoom whiteboard. Same problem. (Although, the problem at first seemed to be solved by using the native Zoom whiteboard, but eventually the same pen flicker ad problem began again to occur with the native Zoo

I have been using Zoom for many months with no problems. Today, (Sunday 30th June 2024) I logged in after a week and on my Macbook Air (MacOS Catalina, 10.15.7) the Whiteboard does not load at all and is stuck on the initial loading screen. It updated to Zoom workplace and I have the new interface so I suspect it has something to do with this? I have tried restarting the Zoom client, my laptop and nothing works. This is a big problem for me as I teach using Zoom Whiteboard; I therefore need this to be resolved as soon as possible. 

Hi everybody,I am using the Zoom Whiteboard on a daily basis and I like it so far.I used to use Goognotes or Onenote for my purposes, but the Zoom Whiteboard has some features, I really like.A better writing and drawing experience on Ipads would be great and also a true dark mode ( toolbar is always white even in dark mode). There seems to be a new hold-for shape-feature, which is really great, besides that is still too slow.I am not talking about the smart draw feature, which I have toggled off, it is really a hold-to-shape function, but both have the same problem. When I use one of those functions and draw a line next to another object it always converts my line into an arrow or something else. Is there any way to disable that, so that I will always just get a line and not an arrow?Thank you.

I'm a veteran Zoom user for my Math and Physics Teaching Company...and I'm THRILLED to see we can finally upload pdfs. I'm the only account holder, thus the admin. I have made sure the toggle is set to allow me (and my students) to upload pdfs and images, etc. to whiteboard. HOWEVER - the option is simply NOT showing up in my whiteboards in meetings. I have restarted my mac, I have quit and restarted Zoom. I am logged in.  (Zoom 5.16.6)Both Zoom and Mac are current.  HELP! I'm losing it!

We have a specific user that keeps getting 1GB limit notification whenever she is trying to add a file to a whiteboard but other users are able to add items to the same whiteboard with no issues.We tried to remove zoom, update the version, etc etc. but she keeps getting the same error message.
