Phone

Hi all - we have the Zoom mobile app installed on an iPhone. When the iPhone is locked, either by the user locking it or by the iPhone timing out to the lock screen, incoming calls to the Zoom app are silent. Personal calls to the iPhone still ring when it's locked, just not Zoom. It shows a missed call, but there's no audible alert. If the phone is unlocked, the Zoom call rings. Any ideas?

In each zoom meeting I host, where I meet with two other people, they cannot hear my voice (and my voice only) stops for about 10 seconds.  My clients’ sound is not affected at all.  They can tell me they cannot hear me.  Video is fine.  Nothing is freezing up.  It is always for just about 10 seconds and then comes back like it did not happen.  It only happens once in each meeting.  It is never at the exact same time.  It is always when I am talking.  Never when they are.  I am on my iphone for these meetings. I do have a new iphone as of June.  BUT this did not happen the first couple of months I had the new iphone.  It appears to have started only after an iphone update.

I can start a meeting using Screen Share from my iPhone, but cannot see the attendees.

I'm trying to make a call but it's saying my plan isn't available but I see the phone symbol on my zoom app,

We are experiencing an issue with Yealink T48S phones where the devices will not reprovision with Zoom Phone after being removed from an existing user and reassigned to another user. The phones work normally until we attempt to reprovision them, at which point they are unable to successfully provision back to Zoom.  We are only having this issue with Yealink T48S phones, other phones are able to provision without issue.   We have been able to reproduce the issue on multiple T48S phones. Some of the troubleshooting we have completed includes: Factory resetting the phones and attempting a clean provision Removing and re-adding the devices in Zoom Removing the devices from Yealink RPS/YMCS Downgrading and upgrading firmware versions as recommended by Yealink Confirming network communication with both Yealink and Zoom Testing on a network with direct internet access to rule out our corporate network/firewall Collecting packet captures and diagnostic logs for both Zoom and Yeali

I have a user that keeps having to reboot her desk phone to reconnect her app.  She gets the “Unable to connect desk phone, try again later.

Hi. I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro. When my earbuds are actively connected via Bluetooth, and I join to a zoom meeting on my phone, the microphone on the earbuds does not work. The only way to get it to work is to stay in the meeting, disconnect the earbuds entirely (power them off, or toggle Bluetooth connection), reconnect the earbuds, and then the microphone on the earbuds will work. This issue only happens to me with the Galaxy Buds4 Pro. I also have Nothing Ear 2 earbuds, and those do not exhibit the issue described.I saw some posts here about the same behavior on Buds3 Pro, so I guess this has been an issue for a while. Here is a 5 minute video of me reproducing the issue with the Galaxy Buds4 Pro, and also showing that the issue does not happen with the Nothing Ear 2:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hsDHymCR2g Let me know if there is any other information I can help gather. Thanks!Samsung community forums post:https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy

Every time I add an AR Target in Roles, it automatically assigns it to every Target Member. We don’t want every target member to have access to all ARs. So, I have to manually go to every Target Member and remove the Targets they shouldn’t have access to. Is there a setting somewhere I can stop this from happening? This is very time consuming to have to manually remove the Targets from every member every time I add a new Target.Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi, my Salesforce org has conversation insight licenses, but zoom phone isn't supported out of the box.  There is however documentation for connecting with Zoom Phone via the API.  Has anyone done this?  I can't find any specifics on how to integration Zoom Phone with Salesforce Conversation Insights, just API documentation.

When I tap share screen, only availability is to share the window or the entire screen. No option seen for sharing by cable anymore. I’ve checked all of my Mac OS settings and privacy, and Zoom is allowed for all of the recordings, et cetera.

When we off-board an employee I am sometimes left with a voice mailbox containing hundreds of messages.  Typically they are marked as read so I assume that the messages have been resolved.  Is there any way to force messages be deleted?  A mailbox capacity limit would accomplish this but I don’t see that as an option.Any other thoughts on how to encourage users to delete messages after they are no longer needed? Can an admin see which users have a large number of messages in their mailbox short of granting themselves access to each mailbox and manually reviewing the contents in the Zoom desktop app?Can we export the contents of a mailbox?

I’ve just gotten started with the Zoom and after about four personal calls to friends, the account was suspended and no reason given. Anyone else know why? These were casual conversations with friends.

Some team members would like to receive email notifications when an SMS comes in.Is this possible? If yes - how can we set that up? If no - what alternative is there?

Hi,User in my team as a contact centre are having issues where the call doesn't ring or connect and just pop up as a missed call. This isn't every call and doesn't affect all agents but some experience every other call.

I just learned today that the blocked/spam indicator icon is not an org-synced indicator.  All our zoom phone users are expected to report spam calls that they answer, but since the blocked/spam icon isn’t an org-synced indicator, the only way to verify if numbers are being reported by staff members is to search the manual spam number list.  I believe organizations using zoom phone would universally benefit if the blocked indicator was org-synced.To the development team: “Zoom Phone: When an admin/user marks a number as spam (Manual Spam Number list), show the same ‘marked as spam/blocked’ indicator icon in call history for all users/org members (especially call queue members), not just the user who reported it.”

Hi, I am fairly new to zoom and while setting up the zoom phone, extension number #800 was assigned automatically. I am unable to understand the steps how to reset it or delete the extension number. Any help or direction would help 🙂

Hello,I would like to explain where we stand with our Zoom Phone subscription, as the process has not gone the way we expected. We purchased the license 15 days ago. We were aware that a separate request had to be submitted in order to obtain a phone number, and we did submit that request as required, with the information and supporting documents asked of us.Since then, several days have passed and we have received no approval and no decision of any kind. The request appears to be pending, with no update, no rejection, and no indication of what remains to be completed on our side.As a result, our license has been paid for and active for two weeks while remaining completely unusable: our team still cannot make or receive a single call through Zoom Phone.Could you please tell us where the request currently stands, whether anything further is expected from us, and when we can realistically expect approval and activation?Thank you for your help.Best regards,

Recently, Zoom’s Note-taking has popped up on my Mac each time I use Siri to place a call on my iPhone – see the attached screenshot.I’ve not found a setting to block this pop-up.-- Ward

We closed our account with Zoom last November (2025) and the domains were not released. Now I need to release the domains in a closed account but that has to be done with support on the line. I can’t contact support because the account is closed. The chat bot can’t help, and tells me to contact support. When I call support I’m told there is no phone support on the account. I’m in a vicious circle here.  How does one contact support without an active account?

Hello,I need assistance escalating an orphaned Zoom Phone business number to the Trust & Safety or Account Ownership team. The Issue: I had an active Zoom Phone line ending in -4275 under my former dealership email address. The corporate office shut down and deleted that email domain, so the inbox no longer exists. I cannot receive email verification codes or reset links. I attempted the automated verification process using my billing card and recent charges, but the automated tool failed to verify me. Current Status: The phone number is still active and goes to voicemail when called. My marketing materials rely heavily on this line, so I need to retain it. I am the cardholder paying for this subscription and have credit card statements and matching government ID ready for manual identity verification. I can provide the full phone number, account details, and payment proof via a secure private message or direct support ticket. Could a Zoom Community Moderator help open an in

Is there a setting to automatically split and send SMS messages that are over 160 characters?

Trying to come up with a simple way to have the agents monitor if thee are calls in the queue.  I was trying to set up a BLF button on their phone, but the only way to do that is to set them up to monitor the group.  If I do that they have access to listen to calls.  If I take that privilege away then it also take it away from the supervisor.  Does anyone have any ideas.

This doesn't seem possible currently, but I would like to be able to create "breaks" in the business hours in Zoom. For example, I would like to be able to set my hours from 8am to 12pm, and 1pm to 5pm, each day so my phone doesn't ring while I'm on lunch. Granted, I can set to DND but I have a more unique example where that's not the best option. We are a university and faculty have different class times where they don't want to receive calls on their computers while in class. Sure they can set DND while in class, but if they don't remember to set it, they will get a call in the middle of class. It seems like it would be useful to be able to set multiple business hours for each day. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

I just bought a new Samsung phone. I cannot connect to my car's Bluetooth audio through the Zoom app at all. It is very frustrating. I cannot find an audio setting in either the app or website that helps. My Bluetooth audio is working perfectly for evey other app.
