Hi there, do zoom have app for AAOS (Not android auto), a.k.a. for google built-in cars? Please advise.

When did hosts stop being able to assign directly from the waiting room to a breakout room? The new Zoom Workplace Application offered an amazing feature that allowed Host and Cohosts to view the waiting room, assign the participant to a breakout room and admit. The participant would go directly to the Breakout Room and bypass the main room. (Referenced in the “2 new features you might have missed” Article) My coworkers and I have noticed one by one we are losing that functionality. Can this be fixed?

We’ve just moved to a new location and upgraded our internet to a much faster connection — 800Mbps download / 40Mbps upload (previously 100Mbps / 20Mbps). * At our previous location, Zoom ran perfectly on the slower connection — no issues at all with video, audio, or screen sharing.* Now, with much faster internet, we’re suddenly experiencing constant “unstable network” errors on Zoom. We’re running daily Zoom sessions with shared video and sound, and the connection keeps dropping, lagging, or freezing — seriously disrupting our work.* No issues with any other platforms or general internet use — only Zoom is affected.* We've tried all the usual fixes: restarting modems/routers, switching between wired and Wi-Fi, testing different devices — nothing works.

I recently installed zoom workplace 6.6.11 onto my desktop computer running kubuntu 24.04 LTS.  I installed from the ubuntu repositories and it seems to have installed correctly.  I can start the zoom app from my applications menu.  I can click on join a meeting and I get a place to enter a meeting ID.  I have no meeting to join at the moment, but so far so good.  It appears that zoom workplace works.I wanted to do a test meeting, so I went to zoom.us/test.  I clicked on join and a window pops up:Pop-upThen click on Choose Application andI tried the System Handler, the ZoomLauncher, and zoom, but nothing happens. Initially the only

In the past, my breakout rooms had a button called "Ask for Help," which allowed students in the breakout room to request that I come see them.  That button is no longer appearing in my break out rooms.  How do I get that function back?  Thank you!  

I cannot add/change my virtual background because Zoom crashes when the open file dialog box appears. The cursor will spin for a minute, then zoom will crash. Any troubleshooting ideas would be welcome. I have already uninstalled using the clean uninstaller tool, and then reinstalled. The problem persists and occurs on Zoom only. The dialog appears, the cursor changes to the "waiting cursor",  you cannot interact with the screen, then it crashes. It's not intermittent - it's every single time. I was able to add a background on my phone but it didnt transfer over to my pc.

;When I'm in a meeting, it often happens that there is one user that I can't hear but others can. It is only that user that I can't hear; everyone else can hear me, but I can't hear them.  In addition, I don't pick up anything played by a musical instrument--even if a user has 'original sound' toggled. Again, everyone else can hear them. I've messed with the playback settings I found in 'audio' but nothing seems to make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas?

How can I do a meeting with my friends but don’t have the app

Hi, thanks for taking my question. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to have the control toolbar always on the host's primary laptop screen and not on the extended monitor screen. I don't want my in-house audience to see how many participants or any of the control features. I want to manage zoom independently on my primary screen. If an individual uses a Zoom link to register to attend a session on Zoom. Does the individual use the same link to access the scheduled session that he used to register? Or will he receive a separate Zoom link for the session itself? 

Hola, Tengo un inconveniente:Estaba utilizando zoom desde una pc de escritorio que me permitia utilizar mi Avatar. Y lo dejé puesto. Luego la pc se me rompio y ahora me conecto desde una pc que no me permite usar avatars, y no me deja sacarlo. Lo tengo puesto permanente. Nisiquiera me habilita la solapa de "Avatares" como para desactivarlo. Me dedico a dar clases y solicito una solucion, alguien podria ayudarme paso a paso por favor? Muchas gracias

My recurring meetings have disappeared from App home page. they were there this morning and now gone. I can still see them on the desktop app and the links still work when clicke don to join but when I click open IOS zoom app they do not show on the home page - they have disappeared.I have about 10 recurring meeting all set to ‘no fixed time’. Can anyone tell me how to get them back showing in the app please? Thanks

I have “Enable Waiting Room” active in the Zoom web settings, but normally use the option on the in-meeting Participants window to “Disable Waiting Room” after the meeting starts so I don’t have to keep manually admitting the latecomers.  But with the new update, that option to “Disable Waiting Room” seems to have been removed.  Is this correct?  Is there a way to turn that back on?  Is that controlled by a local admin setting? Note that I’m not seeing “Disable Waiting Room” as a greyed out option, it’s not visible at all on any setting screens or drop downs.  Also, I do also have a passcode set, so the waiting room wasn’t my only security setting in case there was a “must have one security option active” rule.

Hello! I recently began to use zoom to schedule meetings regularly, but I have noticed that when typing in the 'attendee' field to schedule a meeting, there's no option to just choose from my actual contacts list or autofill. Given how often we hold the meetings and the amount of people, it's a bit tedious to copy/paste each individual email address.    Given how common a feature autofilling contacts is, how do I do this on my Zoom account?   I already have contacts saved in my personal contacts list, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

As host, I start an attendance poll before others join. When participants join, they are presented with the poll. This works for most devices. However on some iPads and iPhones, they see a small message that says "The host has started a poll" which stays on their screen for about 2 seconds. They do not see the poll.I have thoroughly tested using the latest updates.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a setting that needs to be changed on the participants device? 

I would like to send reminders to registrants of a meeting with registrationIf I send the link, they have to register again.It is without tags/not personalized like in a webinar, or like the confirmation e-mail.

Lo hemos probado y hemos creado tantas pizarras como grupos y cuando compartimos un pizarra en una sala, al salir de deja de compartir la pizarra y ya no se puede seguir utilizándolo.Gracias!

HelloI'm trying to work out how, as host, I can enable people in the meeting to send private chat messages between themselves. I've clicked the drop down menu in chat but the option doesn't seem to be there. Do I need to pay monthly to aces this feature?Tia! 🙂

Planing of New Meeting in ZHoom-App (on Notebook) is not possibleDiscription: I open Zoom-App, everything looks as ever. But when I nlick the  the planing button, an empty white Pop-up windows (were I normally can put in all the necessary details) opens. It even is not possible to close that pop-up and I have to open task manager to close the zoom-app.Everything else on the computer works as ever. No problems with internet connection, no problems with any programm or system functions.I never had such a problem before.What I tried: I used the uninstall program (the uninstaller gave no feedback, just disappeared. I checked: the program wasn’t there anymore), installed the App anew - same problem., checked event viewer but didn’t find anything that could be relevant.Then I tried to click the Meeting button (in the Zoom-App) after I planned the Meeting in the Web-App, got an error code that I sent with the relevant button. Weird thing happened this morning. A student of mine shared his screen with me, which we do roughly once per term. When he opened sharing for his desktop, I could see his web browser with a Zoom page showing - he was using the Zoom app, but had the browser open. His Apple Logic Pro application was already open under that window. Now, when he closed the web browser, only the top quarter of the Logic screen showed up, and behaved as expected - I could see his mouse pointer and the actions he was performing. But the rearming three quarters of my screen showed the web browser page he had closed. Like those three quadrants were frozen. We tried quitting an opening a new meeting (initiated at his end not mine) but the same thing happened. When his screen was already on Logic Pro before sharing, it looked right until he started doing things and then I could see that three quarters of my view were in fact frozen.He is on an Intel Mac running OS X Mojave and I am on a Mac M1 running S

In several meetings, audio cuts out for a few seconds while video and internet stay stable.I’ve already updated Zoom, tested different headsets, and tried both Wi-Fi and wired connections, but the issue still happens randomly — especially in longer meetings.Curious if others are seeing this or have found a fix.
