Forward messages to members via email

Hi,

Is it possible to forward messages written in a group chat or channel to the member's registered email addresses?

At times, users do not see the messages in the chats and it would be a very good feature to send a reminder to users via email to check the chat/channel for any unnoticed activity...

Thanks

Hi @jeffreyzammit ,

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, you can forward your message from the channel to a specific user but we won't be able to send a reminder to the users via email. To do this, click the 3 dots (...) beside the message, Select forward, then on the Search Bar for "Search by name or channel to forward to". Once you have selected the name of the person to forward the message to, Select the "Forward Message" button.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Tash_Balaguer  - Thanks for your reply, however, I meant to forward the message via email and not within zoom itself. The issue we are facing is that some of our members are not logging in to Zoom regularly and hence not seeing the correspondence. I would like to be able to forward the messages (similarly to how you mentioned), however, instead as a zoom DM, to the member/s registered email addresses.

Thanks!

Hi @jeffreyzammit

Unfortunately, due to system limitations, this isn't currently possible. However, I'd suggest submitting a feature request. To do so, log in to the Zoom web portal as an admin and go to Account Management. Then, click on Feature Enablement Requests. There, you can view existing requests or submit a new one by following the prompts. If you're not an admin, you might need to ask your account owner or admin to submit the request for you.

Hi @Tash_Balaguer ,
I am the Account Admin and did find the Feature Enablement Requests page, but I am unable to create new requests...
