I was disappointed to see Zoom Companion was not included for Education accounts. Is this a regulatory issue or a business decision? 😥
I tried to follow these instructions:
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/17396873863309-Enabling-in-meeting-questions-with-AI-Companion#h_01H9H7RRR5CG8YHPK84RG39SVE
but I don't have the options in my account to enable
I do not want the copyrighted, personally identifiable information, and client confidential information that is the content of my zoom meetings to be used to train any AI systems. It appears there is no opt-out option. Can someone help with this, please. Since I've not heard back from Zoom technical support on this question I have begun looking into properly secure alternatives.

If so... not ok, bye-bye. Whole reason here for privacy for clients!
I'm still very confused about the new update to the Terms of Service related to zoom using our content to train its AI. I understand that it isn't done without our consent, but I don't see a place in settings to explicitly opt out. Does this option even exist? What does giving or removing our consent look like if there isn't even a mention of AI/artificial intelligence or training when I search settings? This is extremely frustrating. Thank you for the transparency but there are still so many questions.

Hi, are private zoom meeting videos stored on server side and/or used in AI training in any way shape whatsoever? Note that I am intentionally being vague with the question, to be inclusive of any and all video storage zoom-side, and any and all AI training. Note this is specifically referring to https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37021160 . Note that no consent was given on my side to any of this; and if any consent was implied, it is hereby revoked. Kindly let me know.

I have just started experimenting with Smart Recordings. My first file which was 24 minutes long had 4 chapters marked. The second file on the same day which was 3 hours long had a message saying a message saying chapters and next steps are not available, but there was highlighting. Why is that? Is there a time limit to how long the meeting/class is? Also, has anyone discovered some key things that prompt a chapter break or is it solely by time? Ours seemed like every 6 minutes.
