The sound is low and choppy, I can't hear what other people say even though the volume is max. I tried to test my speaker in the setting audio, but it is still small. Sometimes Zoom pops up this notification "Low system resources may affect your audio quality...", but I only open Zoom? This only happens in Zoom, other applications sound is still normal, proving that my speaker is fine.My laptop is ASUS with Windows 11Who can help meeeee
I have a "AI Companion BASIC" plan.I recently started using Notes (which I think are stored in Docs), initially for manually taking notes, then I discovered meeting transcriptions. After starting a meeting transcription, after 30-40 minutes, the transcription ended. I read a post by someone that transcriptions end after 40 minutes for basic plan(s). On a later date, I tried to have (at least part of) a meeting transcribed, but it ended quite soon. Today I tried again, and was told I had hit my AI Companion limit. What is the maximum amount of time a meeting can be transcribed with my plan (assuming I haven’t run out of AI companion usage)? How is AI companion usage calculated?, or to put it another way, if I’ve had about 40 of a meeting transcribed (then cut off); then another one cut off even sooner; then transcription not even starting (out of AI companion usage), is that probably to be expected? When I click “Upgrade” for “AI Companion BASIC”, the “AI Companion” plan mentions unlimi
Despite host approving recordings, they NEVER record to my computer (Lenovo). I have checked everywhere on my computer and they are nowhere to be found. Zoom’s AI bot is useless and just parrots everything on the website that I’ve tried. I have looked all over the internet and can’t find an answer. I’m a free member but unwilling to pay because I only attend 1-2 meetings/week and never host. WHY AREN’T THEY RECORDING???
I don't want the AI companion attending my meetings. I've switched it off in multiple places all over my account, and yet it pops up as a participant every single time. My meetings are private, I don't want any other parties listening in. It's a massive security black hole. It's so annoying to block it manually for every single meeting. How do I uninstall it, when it was never installed in the beginning. I went through the AI support, and everything it suggested is already off.
When trying to create a new zoom phone account I keep on receiving Error code 5613, I have tried with different cards and keep on getting the same error message, help?I am trying to create an account in Canada.
When I create a meeting and press save in order to copy link - the spinning wheel of death comes up - I cant access my meetings either- any suggestions?
I setup Zoom to auto-start with Win 11 pro. I want it to open at a specific location on my (extended) second monitor with the same window size every time. How can I configure it to do so?
I'm not an organization I'm a just a person who signed up for a remote phone number. There is no admin just me I was hoping and expecting sms messaging would work with the number, but I get a not registered error message. And, I can't find any useful information on fixing this issue. This is my last attempt before cancelling the service. I need sms.
I tried to troubleshoot everything regarding this topic. My iPhone doesn't show as a select option when opening zoom desktop. I remember one time it worked and it showed but now it doesn't. So far i haveDeleted and reinstalled Zoom DesktopChecked continuity settings in iPhone (everything is on)Restarted both devices.
I am a foreign language teacher and my students are all adults. I do not care to check whether they are on-task (they are), or who is talking/listening/participating (they all do). I need to hear what words they are using, in what order, and how they are pronouncing those words! Right now, Zoom has improved breakout rooms with the enhanced breakout room app, but it is geared more toward ensuring that students are doing what they are supposed to, and giving them new info while they are in the different rooms. The teacher can not hear the students talk. The explanation given for this is that "it would be too confusing if you could hear everyone at once." Wouldn't it be possible to have a "mute" button for each room? Could I not, as a teacher, mute and unmute the breakout rooms so I could focus on what is being said in each one? At the moment, the only option I have is to go into each breakout room and let them know I'm there. The
Hi everyone,I’ve been hosting regular Zoom meetings for remote teams, and I’m looking for ideas to make sessions more engaging and interactive. While Zoom provides great tools, sometimes meetings can still feel a bit routine or low-energy.I’ve tried a few approaches like polls, breakout rooms, and quick icebreaker activities, but I’d love to hear what’s working for others. For example:How do you keep participants actively involved throughout the meeting? Are there any creative activities or tools you recommend? Has anyone tried using word or puzzle games (like “Letter Boxed” style challenges) during meetings to boost engagement?I’m especially interested in simple techniques that work well for both small and large groups.Looking forward to learning from your experiences thanks in advance! 😊
I hope you're all doing well. I've been encountering a bit of a challenge lately and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. When I try to share my screen during a Sigma Free Fire gaming session on Zoom, I've noticed some annoying voice issues. The audio seems to be distorted or unclear, making it difficult for others to hear me properly. I've tried adjusting my settings both in the game and on Zoom, but the problem persists. Has anyone else faced a similar issue or perhaps found a solution to improve the audio quality while screen sharing during gaming sessions?
How many co-hosts are allowed for 300 participants capacity?
This is a serious usability limitation that directly affects professional and large-scale Zoom usage. In auditoriums, temples, conferences, and large meeting halls where Zoom is displayed on LED walls or projectors, participant names are not readable from a distance due to the fixed and small font size. When managing sessions with hundreds of participants, this creates operational confusion and reduces overall professionalism during live events.Zoom is widely used for enterprise and large community gatherings, yet there is currently no option to adjust participant name font size. This basic display control is essential for real-world environments beyond small laptop or mobile screens.A customizable font size option (small/medium/large or scalable slider) for participant names should be implemented as a priority. Without this, Zoom becomes difficult to use effectively in large venues, and many organizers are forced to explore alternative platforms that offer better display customization.
I am curious if anyone has this problem or knows of a good solution. I often host meetings with a large number of participants (100+) and sometimes people will use the chat feature to ask for things, such as to have screen sharing enabled, to be spotlighted, etc. I know users can raise their hand and that will bring their video to the top of the list. But sometimes they do not know how to raise their hand, or they simply won't do it, and I have to search through pages and pages of videos looking for their screen name so I can click on their video to provide whatever it is they need. This is very frustrating since I've already started an interaction with them in the chat, but the options when clicking on a username in the chat are very limited. Is there some way to search for a specific user within a meeting so that their video can be brought up quickly? Or even a way to simply list all the users alphabetically so that I could find their video quickly?
Our Mitel 6940 phones have not switched over to daylight savings time. It worked fine in the fall but not this time. I do not want to go into each device to change the time. Is there a provisioning command to do this? The time zone is assigned to each user and I do not see an option to change it for devices. I have added in an NTP server and a secondary one. I did a resync account and the provisioning date changed but the phone did not reboot. I wanted to open a ticket to find out why it failed but I also cannot find where I can open a ticket. It only shows a virtual agent.
Danke !
Hi! I’m going to be using Zoom Phone for my new small business and wondered if there is a “easy mode” for being able to work through the setup of things I actually need (phone/fax/IVR/some AI voice mail → “tasks”). Or is this something that can be contracted out? Thank you! I just haven’t found the Zoom videos/tutorials super helpful
First timer … searched Focus Rite, but the results padlocked on the camera function of Zoom.I have a Focus Rite Scarlet Solo device. It takes an external Shure Microphone with the “XLR” connection and my bass guitar in the standard 1/4’ audio jack … digitizes and sends to the computer with USB. The device works fine on Apples “Garage Band.” It will discern for the vocal track the mic, and for the bass track, the “instrument.” However, when I try to use this device in a Zoom session with my bass instructor, he can hear my voice, but he can’t hear my bass guitar. Seems to me, it’d be “all or nothing” … I DID discover yesterday, in starting my own session, I could hear my bass … but when I joined the session my instructor started … no bass.what do I need to do in Zoom to avail the bass guitar to the program so that my zoom participant can hear it?Version 6.7.7 Zoom software. Thank you for helping a newb!

I am having “issues” connecting the SDK to a webinars plus event. Are we able to do that? I am using a general app and can connect to a meeting or webinar using the same app but as soon as I try to connect to a webinars plus lite or full event, I get a Signature Invalid error.
It seems that very recently, we have lost the ability to share a camera through the “Share Content” button outside of a meeting in our Zoom Rooms. We are using Roland UVC-01 HDMI to USB capture devices, but since they are not in the list of approved devices for HDMI share, we presented our users with the workaround to hit “Share Content”, then “Camera”, then choose the “Content” option, which is simply an HDMI switcher plugged into the Roland HDMI to USB device into the Zoom Room PC.However, now when we press the Share Content button, there is no option for Camera outside of a meeting. We now have to start a meeting, hit the Share Content, then switch to the cameras. Is this a recent change that there is now an option needed to allow us to do this again? Or is this simply not possible anymore without an approved HDMI to USB capture card? Here is what it looks like sharing outside of a meeting. There used to be the Camera option next to iPhone/iPad:And here is what it looks like when c
Hi Zoom Community,We’re experiencing an intermittent audio issue when joining Microsoft Teams meetings from Zoom Rooms, specifically on Poly X50 devices. What we’re seeing:When a Zoom Room joins a Teams meeting, the remote Teams participants can see video from the room, but cannot hear the people in the room Audio from the Teams side into the room works This does not happen consistently — some meetings work as expected, others do not The issue has occurred across multiple rooms, not just a single deviceWhat we’ve tested so far:Joining via calendar invite (room invited to the meeting) Joining via Teams meeting ID Testing with internal users and a third‑party/external participant Same behavior observed regardless of join method or participant typeWe’re mainly trying to understand whether:Others are experiencing similar one‑way audio issues when joining Teams meetings from Zoom Rooms This is a known interoperability issue or limitation There are any recommended settings, logs, or patterns
I cannot remove the blurred background on Zoom meetings. It isn’t the blur from the app settings - it’s a softer background blur. For context: I have a paid pro Zoom account and I’m on Mac Pro. I have checked my default computer cameras and the blur is gone - this is definitely a Zoom error and not a computer problem. I’ve also already:gone through all the video settings and unchecked everything restarted zoom restarted my computer reinstalled zoom with a computer restart gone through my computer system library and searched for hidden zoom files to make sure all settings were totally removed + emptied trash updated the newly installed zoom to best work with a silicon chipAfter the update, the background was clear for less than a second then immediate reverted to soft blur. I’ve spent way too much time on this. I need a clear background for work. Help please.
