Delete one of the two recordings of a meeting

Hi dear community members,

I hosted recently an online masterclass and I hit record & stop two times. So there are two archives in the cloud: the first one (36 seconds), the second one (1 hour two minutes).

I’d love to delete the first archive, because it has no content, and leave the last one.

I see both at the same time in the list of the recordings, and the system lets me see them one after another, but I want to delete the first one and leave the second one and share it with the attendees.

Do you know how can I do it? I couldn’t find a way…

Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Hi @montserratescod,

We’re glad to have you here!

To delete a specific cloud recording and keep the others:

    1. Go to your Zoom recording management page.
    2. Click on the meeting topic that contains your recordings.
    3. Hover over the recording you want to delete (the 36-second one) and click the trash icon.
    4. Confirm by clicking Move to Trash.

This will remove only the selected recording, and your longer recording will remain available for sharing with attendees.

You can also check this link to learn more about it.

On the web portal, you should be able to see length of time, as well as size of file.
