If participants are unable to control your shared screen using remote control, here are some things to check:

• Make sure remote control is enabled in your Zoom web portal settings.
• Only the desktop Zoom app supports giving and receiving remote control; this feature does not work on iOS or Android devices.
• Some content types, like Zoom Docs, do not support remote control.
• You must actively grant remote control to a participant during screen sharing.

If you recently updated Zoom or changed settings, double-check that remote control is still enabled in your account settings. Also, ensure both you and your participants are using the latest version of the Zoom desktop app.
