Zoom meetings not starting automatic recording despite correct configuration

Hello, I represent a training organization where we manage several Zoom virtual classrooms. We are currently facing an issue: some meeting rooms are not starting automatic recording, even though they are properly configured. Could you please explain the cause of this issue and suggest a solution? This situation is highly disruptive to our operations.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Automatic recording may not start in some Zoom meetings if you join the meeting in a web browser and then switch to the Zoom Workplace app. To ensure automatic recording works, always join meetings directly through the Zoom Workplace app.

    Additionally, automatic recording settings only apply to meetings scheduled after the feature is enabled. For existing meetings and Personal Meeting IDs, you must configure automatic recording individually for each meeting.

    To resolve this:

    • Make sure all hosts and participants join meetings using the Zoom Workplace app, not a web browser.
    • Double-check that automatic recording is enabled for each scheduled meeting, especially for recurring meetings and those using a Personal Meeting ID.
