Hi,I installed the newest version of the Linux client yesterday and recognized that when sharing the screen I only see a black screen.Version: 6.2.0 (1855)I am definitely on XOrg and NOT on wayland.Downgrading to version 6.1.10 fixed it.I'm on lightdm and use Qtile as TWM.I can't check whether this happens on GNOME or Plasma, too.Many thanks in advance!

Hello Zoom team, I would like to suggest an improvement for the Enter key behavior in Zoom chat. Adjust the Enter key behavior in Zoom Phone so it doesn't send the message immediately. I’d like the option to have pressing Ctrl + Enter create a new line instead of sending the message. I’m hosting a Zoom meeting, and I’m experiencing an issue with participant annotations. My own annotations work normally, but when a participant using an iPad and Apple Pencil adds an annotation, it disappears from the screen after 1–2 seconds. The participant can see the annotation briefly, but it then disappears. Could this be a compatibility issue between Zoom’s annotation feature, iPadOS, and Apple Pencil?

Hello Zoom Community,We are testing background listener stability and remote webhook payload handling when integrating meeting telemetry endpoints into automated enterprise systems.Technical Setup: Our integration architecture at Frontline Sales Consultancy (flsc.co.uk) triggers automated B2B notifications and REST API syncs over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). The Issue We're Facing: Under heavy concurrent load spikes, background POST webhook listener sockets occasionally report HTTP 504 gateway timeout responses before acknowledging payload completion. Direct REST API requests to the same remote host resolve normally under 150ms thresholds. Are there recommended network socket keep-alive settings or queue worker retries to prevent connection drops during high-volume data syncs? Any advice on managing asynchronous background worker threads would be appreciated!Thanks!

How long does a free basic zoom meeting last?

A new problem has come up just in the last couple of days that I have had no problems with previously. While using Zoom to tutor, I use both my MacBook and iPad. The iPad is for writing on the Zoom whiteboard. For some reason, when I write on the whiteboard on my iPad, I can see what I am writing until I lift my Apple Pencil at which point what I wrote disappears on my iPad but is visible on my MacBook and for everyone else in the meeting (including my student). As you can imagine, it is quite difficult to write on the whiteboard with my iPad when I cannot see what I have already written. Has anyone experienced this? How can I fix this? I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Zoom app on my iPad, following and unfollowing the creator of the whiteboard, and creating the whiteboard on both my MacBook and on my iPad. None of these have helped.

Several years ago I hosted regular scheduled meetings which subsequently continued without me being an attendee.  The meeting ID and pw and still being used, but I need to delete them from my profile so they can no longer be used.How do I do this please as the meetings are not showing in my meeting scheduler.

Trying to come up with a simple way to have the agents monitor if thee are calls in the queue.  I was trying to set up a BLF button on their phone, but the only way to do that is to set them up to monitor the group.  If I do that they have access to listen to calls.  If I take that privilege away then it also take it away from the supervisor.  Does anyone have any ideas.

Our organization just updated to the New Zoom Web Experience. On the Web Home Page, when you click ‘Start’ on a scheduled Meeting on your Calendar, it opens the Meeting only using Zoom on the Web. The Desktop Workplace App offers a more complete feature set, better user experience and, by Zoom’s own admission, the “best media quality” as compared to the Web version. Inconsistently, using the New Meeting or Join buttons on the Home Page both launch the Desktop App, as well as the Meetings Tab under the Waffle. My suggestion: Create an Admin Center setting to select the default behavior when launching Meetings from the Home Page Calendar: either the Desktop App, the Web App or to prompt the user to select which one. 

When I am holding a meeting as the host a get this message when I try the screen sharing function. Could please anybody tell me why this happens and how to sort it out? Thank you in advance 

once I try to install zoom from rpm on my current fedora (44) workstation, I get an error:Failed to read package header from file "zoom_x86_64.rpm"It is possible to workaround using commands such as sudo rpm -Uvh --nosignature --nodigest /(...path...)/zoom_7.1.0.3715_x86_64.rpmbut it looks like there is some problem with the packages. it first appeared on zoom 7.0.5 rpm (previous linux version).Claude claims the problem may be related to rpm 6.0 installed on fedora, meaning zoom packages the zoom app using an obselete rpm protocol (rpm v3), I doubt it since it looks like rpm 6 has been around for a while - but problems appeard only last month.thank you

Hi all, sorry if this isn't he correct board.... I have a Lenovo laptop where my camera used to work on Zoom meetings and now it does not. The light shows up, telling me that the camera is on, but only a black screen. I have done trouble shooting on the laptop, updated drivers, disabled and enabled and still black screen. The camera is the integrated camera that came with the laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is there any way to build a standalone page with a form that then points to the Zoom API? Any example at all? I have been told by sales that it was possible but I cannot find much on the help pages.Thanks in advance for your helpXP

Hello Zoom webinerdsAnalytics on this license is quite powerful but unfortunately it cannot be shared with 3rd parties easily. They have to wait for me to download a report and then share it. Other platforms let producers share a link which can be accessible without a licensed access. In my case, sales need to see who is registered already before sending invitations to their clients. Has aynone else come up against this issue? Any workaround? Any Zoom plans to make their analytics more accessible? Thank you for reading!

Sharing encase someone has an interest in using the Cisco ATA’s with Zoom phone. I’ve had issues with pushing certain parameters from my Zoom template to the Cisco ATA MPP 191/192. Working with both CiscoTAC and Zoom, Zoom engineering confirmed they do not currently support sub parameters. However, primary parameters are not an issue. Sub parameters would be in this format below which encompasses everything in between the header parameter <web management> & closing </web management> and if your familiar with configuring parameters for the Cisco ATA 191/192 MPP, you’ll quickly figure out, Zoom doesn’t follow the standard XML structure as documented by Cisco. This is probably why the Cisco ATA does not render what is being sent because the format is foreign. I am waiting on Zoom engineering to provide on a fix/update which looks to be Q4 of this year. You can still unbox and configure the ATA manually, but if you have a mass amount to deploy, good luck. <Web_Management

In the company overview account settings, I am able to set the default voicemail greeting for most things, however it seems I can't do it for holiday hours.  I've got standard holidays programmed in for the whole company which apply to all extensions. As far as I can tell it only lets me change the voicemail greeting per holiday, per auto receptionist/call queue/user, which is just way too much manual work for the number of destinations we have.   Am I missing something, or is there truly no way to do this?

Starting a new meeting as a host, sent invitations for participants as usual, but when they try to join, few of them weren't able to connect video (automatically connected in "audio-only" mode). They can't see the host and host can't see them!! Why? Why only few people and why all of a sudden meeting invitation chose to connect them with audio only mode!?!

I work in the social-media tools niche, particularly around TikTok, and I’m interested in how creators use Zoom beyond regular meetings.Has anyone used Zoom to record interviews, tutorials, Q&A sessions, or collaborations and then turn those recordings into short-form content?I’d be interested in hearing which Zoom features make this workflow easier, especially recording, screen sharing, audio quality, and managing longer sessions.

We have a secretary who is a delegate for a managing partner. When she creates a Zoom meeting for him, and then goes back into the appt. to update it - adding add'l participants, changing the date, etc., the updated information/participant disappears shortly thereafter!  The added participants are never invited, and the updated information is never updated. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes for this? We have an open ticket with Zoom tier 2.  Thanks!   

Hello, We have a somewhat unique ZCX customer use case.  During normal business hours a restaurant chain might call this customer and request some new food orders (bulk food supplies).  However, some businesses are focused on late-night or after-hours such as bars or or other food and entertainment venues and need to perform fast paced tasks with this vendor out of band.  One of these customers might call into the Zoom contact center and place an entire bulk order over voicemail, sometimes dozens of items or part numbers etc. These voicemails, while probably 2% of cases, exceed the 5 minute limit imposed by Zoom contact center for inboxes. Can we get this limit bumped up to 10 minutes for individual voicemails?
