Enter Key Behavior in Zoom Phone

Hello Zoom team, I would like to suggest an improvement for the Enter key behavior in Zoom chat. Adjust the Enter key behavior in Zoom Phone so it doesn't send the message immediately. I’d like the option to have pressing Ctrl + Enter create a new line instead of sending the message. Thank you for considering this feature request!

It seems this has been changed in one of the version intruduces mid 2026.

However I really hate this - please make this a setting, because:

most apps let you choose the behaviour using a setting
a lot of people just love the Enter way (because most of the time that’s what you use!)

+1, I find it bad UX as well.

I send messages much more often than I insert line breaks, and now it takes two button presses instead of one.

Please let me know if a setting will be available for this.
