Does this mean the host is notified when it is opened or turned on? What about using audio recording apps only (no screen recording) will they also be notified?Thanks!

Hi all, sorry if this isn't he correct board.... I have a Lenovo laptop where my camera used to work on Zoom meetings and now it does not. The light shows up, telling me that the camera is on, but only a black screen. I have done trouble shooting on the laptop, updated drivers, disabled and enabled and still black screen. Hello, I am aware that a transcript is automatically created for meetings that are recorded onto the cloud. I accidentally recorded my last meeting to my laptop and there is no trancript. Is there a way to get a transcript from this? And is there a reason we don't get a transcript when recording to our device?
opened zoom for a meeting on Friday but the meeting would only appear as a miniwindow in the zoom spot on the task bar. I had to keep my finger on it to keep it open. I could hear the meeting and everyone could see me as usual. Usually clicking such a window opens it up but no. I downloaded zoom workplace several times to no avail and even closed down the whole computer and started over. No. I tested it out several times later that day with friends setting up meetings. My camera is on top of my screen.My video is just below that on the screen.My guest's video is below mine.Both videos are wide screen due to webcam doing HD, so can't put them side by side....Problem is, I look at my guest video when I talk which makes me look like I'm looking down at the ground to my guest and not 'at them'.If the guest video was above mine and thus nearer the camera, then it would look like I'm looking at them.How do I get their video above mine (or mine below theirs)?
I started the Zoom meeting, I shared my screen with the layout where the content is behind me. I recorded local to my computer. When I play the video, it shows the content and me side-by-side with myself extremely small (more like fully content and myself barely visible on the side).When I did this in a previous Zoom meeting. Our room was under construction for about 6 months and just came back online. When it came back on we keep getting the error code in the image. We have a Zoom room connected to a Crestron brain. I saw that error code 5 means a mismatch between the Crestron and Zoom. I changed my Zoom room to mountain time, and the engineer changed the Crestron unit to the correct time, but we're still getting this error.I'm also trying to update the Crestron firmware through Zoom but it's getting stuck and timing out.If the time is correct on the Crestron, could a network switch be getting in the way?Any ideas? Hoping someone can help me out with this. I started the recording at the beginning of the meeting. We got the standard audio notification that the meeting was being recorded. Then over an hour later the same audio notification came on letting us know the meeting is now being recorded. There was no notice that the recording stopped. There was no cohost, only me, and I didn’t stop or pause the recording. There was no internet connection issue. That hour gap is not recorded. There are two separate recordings, the first 20 minutes and the last 25 minutes. An hour in between is missing. What would have caused this issue and how can it be avoided moving forward? Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,After a late-May update, I can still see Captions (CC) in Breakout Rooms, but the “Transcript” option is missing inside Breakout Rooms. Therefore, I cannot save the meeting transcripts unless the conversation takes place in the main session.In the main session, the transcript option appears and works. In Breakout Rooms, captions display, but there is no save option in the captions/transcription menu. If I have an active chat, but I have minimized zoom or have focus in a different app, and I get a new message, I get a notification of the new message. I can’t respond to ever message as it comes in so I ignore it. When I return to zoom to check my messages or if I click on the notification from another message, that one from the previously “active” chat is marked read. If it’s been a while or if I was away from my computer when that notification comes, I may forget that message came in. I’m not a fan. I did have a recent update and this seems like a newer feature.

With a little more experience, I’ve determined that Toggle Headings is indeed “a thing” in Zoom Canvas… it just works a bit differently.The issue is really just in my head: I’ve been fooled by Notion into thinking that having the ability to create a Toggle Heading is a good thing. But the reality in Zoom Canvas is much, much better: Every Heading is a toggle heading! You don’t create a Toggle Heading specifically when you want one. I’ll say it again: Every Heading is a toggle heading!Simply create headings at the appropriate levels.
