I'm posting from the POV of a webinar attendee, not as a host/planner. I am using Zoom Workplace version 6.4.0 on Mac Ventura. I swear there used to be a way for me, as an attendee, to adjust the size of the presenter's camera view while they are sharing their screen.  For example, you could have the presenter and their PowerPoint side-by-side, and drag to adjust the size of the presenter  relative to the size of their PowerPoint slide. Now all I see is the option to switch between the slide and a camera view up top that is so tiny you can barely make out the presenter's face. If you switch, then the shared PowerPoint is way too small.

I realize that if you go full screen, you gain some control, but this is awkward compared to the side-by-side view, requiring multiple clicks rather than just dragging to adjust. I swear I looked through all of the view settings and can't see a way to switch to a view that makes the presentation engaging -- in other words, you can clearly see the slides, and their face, side by side, at the same time.

I don't see an option to share a screenshot, so here's a link to a (heavily-redacted) one:

Hi. We are organising a multi-day summit next March. I want to ensure that people using screen readers or other assistive technology can register for the event, and to also bookmark individual sessions. I am struggling to find any information about the accessibility of the registration form, and navigation of an events hubs.

Any advice on this would be very much appreciated.

Export webinar links for all registrants

OK, wanting to export the unique access links for all webinar registrants into my CRM, so I can sms reminders about the meetings (with the sms containing the access link). Anyone done this? ANy integrations that can suck out the unique URLs?

WARNING to Zoom Webinar Hosts: Don't Use the New "Shared Content Only" Feature

You may have noticed that Zoom recently released a new "Shared Content Only" view mode that webinar hosts can use in "Follow Host View" mode to hide all panelist video tiles and show only the shared content (like slides or any other screenshare).  It's a very useful new feature that was designed to let webinar hosts have more control over what their attendees are seeing.  There are definitely lots of use cases where a webinar host may want to hide all of the video tiles, especially during transitions between presentation or program segments.

HOWEVER... The problem is that the "Shared Content Only" view will NOT work for many of your attendees.  If attendees are using the browser-based version of Zoom, or if they have an older version of the Zoom desktop client, the video tiles WILL NOT disappear for them when the webinar host switches to "Shared Content Only" view.  As you might imagine, this can cause a lot of embarassing problems if the host THINKS they are hiding all of the panelist video when in fact a whole bunch of attendees are still seeing the video.

Zoom never bothered to tell their customers that this new feature does not work across all Zoom attendee versions.  And, even worse, after being told about this problem they apparently have no plans to fix it (this is what I've been told via a support ticket).

So - webinar hosts - don't use the "Shared Content Only" feature unless all of your attendees are using the most current version of the Zoom desktop client or the mobile app (of course, it's impossible to know this).  Since Zoom hasn't bothered telling their customers about this, hopefully this message will be seen by some and prevent potential embarassment.

It's really a shame that Zoom released a new feature that wasn't properly developed or tested.  If it actually worked correctly, it would be a very useful feature for webinar hosts.  As it stands now, it's pretty much useless if it doesn't work across the board for all attendees.

Registrants for my webinar are not receiving their reminder emails when they should

I have my reminders set at one day and one hour before the webinar. I have had several tell me that they did not receive their email, or the email came an hour later than it should, like something is wrong with the time zone. How do I fix this?

Zoom Events Pre-registered Tickets

Is it possible to view a list of people registered for each ticket? We can see how many people registered for each ticket but not a list of names and within the manage registrant section, you can only view each registration separate.

Attendees with same name

Recently, we hosted a webinar and encountered an issue with multiple attendees having the same name. Any idea on how to resolve this and if it is possible for us to find out the actual attendee's email?

If yes, where do you configure that email?

There is also no guarantee that any/all attendees have a zoom account.

Thx.

1) Could you please tell if the information provided in the post https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Events-and-Webinars/Is-there-a-way-to-access-personal-webinar-links/m-p/162197 is still valid?

2) If we would like to use personal links to join each attendee, all attendees need Zoom accounts (although free accounts should be sufficient for this purpose)?

3) We would like to organize a meeting for more than 300 people, with personalized links for each participant to join. To do this, we need the Zoom webinar 500 plan + Zoom Workplace pro license, at minimum?

4) Also, does the Zoom webinar 500 plan mean 500 attendees for the whole month in total, or it means there can be a maximum of 500 active attendees at the same time?
