Zoom Room Host

When I create an invite for my coworkers to have a meeting in our conference room with internal and external employees, the meeting appears on our tablet in the conference room so I just need to hit "join" which has usually just started the meeting on the screen in the conference room but is now giving a message that it is "waiting for the host to join" and will not start the meeting until someone externally logs into the meeting but the original invite was created from the conference room calendar itself so should be the host already. Any ideas what is causing this?

Hi,

The may be happening because meeting is set to allow participants to join before the host.Could you try enabling this setting as it should help the Zoom Room start the meeting even if you haven't joined from your account yet.
Also, check if waiting room functionality is enabled for that specific meeting as it could also affect how the meeting starts
