Upcoming Date Range

Upcoming date range not allowing to see all meetings schedule and will not allow to adjust dates.  This allows for double booking.  Also will not allow me to view date that I am trying to schedule for to see if there is already a meeting scheduled.  i.e, I know there is a meeting scheduled but when I schedule a test meeting at the same time it allows me to schedule on top of the meeting already scheduled.  Previously i could see all meetings scheduled, now i can only view the next 2 months.  We schedule our board and board committee meetings a year out.  Something changed about a month ago and now cannot see ALL upcoming meetings.

Hello @DB2411

In my opinion this comes down to "how" you are scheduling your meetings (I think) I am not completely wrapping my head around what your issue is totally, I think you and I talking it out might make the difference. Can you submit a support ticket, so that I can look at your account and see how you schedule your meetings? If not, let me know and I will work with you on the community, but note that we do not allow PII data on this page so please do not send me your email address or any specific meeting IDs unless you send it to me in a DM.

To DB2411 –  I had a similar experience and found that the system allows you to view 90-day blocks, one at a time. You are not limited only to the current date plus 90 days. If you select a new start date which is in the future, instead of the current date which is automatically selects, you can view meetings 90 days out from then. This takes some tinkering but works. Zoom could certainly make it more intuitive.

Example: While in Meetings and in the “Upcoming” tab, open the calendar view by clicking on the small calendar icon with date range. This is just beneath the title “Upcoming”.

Click on the highlighted current date (9/1/2024) to deselect it. Then click on it again and the calendar will close. Open it again and the current date is highlighted again but there is no end date selected. Now you can advance the calendar to a future start date (12/1/2024). It will allow you to select an end date up to 90 days out. This will show your meetings for that 90-day block (12/1/2024 - 3/1/2025). You can use the same method to reset to the current date or do like I did and click out of Meetings. Once you return, it defaults back to the current 90 days.

Hello @Lowtechguy

Thank you for your feedback. I want to know what you mean by Zoom making this more intuitive. We are always trying to improve the product, and I can get this information in front of our Product Team as feedback for future builds.

Have a happy holiday weekend.

The recent change to viewing upcoming meetings has introduced additional work. We frequently schedule meetings more than two months in advance. The additional steps necessary to verify a series of meetings over a three-month timespan are cumbersome and prone to error. The most significant issue is that the dates can only be entered via a widget. Please consider making the date filter an option and allowing for keyboard entry of the dates.

Hi YaBoiB,

My call sign is not meant to be comical. I am not tech savvy. Nonetheless, maybe add an option to the date range tab permitting the user to view the “Next 90 days”, or similar wording, to allow a quick advance of the calendar. Folks are obviously frustrated and confused with the additional steps required to see their calendared events beyond the immediate 90 days and all the discussions (some listed below) have failed to explain the solution or pathway to get to what they need to view. While my example is not the most artful explanation of how to maneuver, I tried to help others searching for a “how to” on this following the change. So, along with the “additional tab” idea, maybe a brief and better written “how to view 90-day blocks of your upcoming meetings” would help in the interim.

Here are a few of the many Zoom community discussions on this topic:

Unable to see scheduled meetings into 2025 and unable to enter a date range beyond Jan. 1 2025

Date range limitations after update

Zoom Date Range feature for viewing meetings

I hope you have a happy holiday weekend as well
