We're using Zoom in my organization, but lately, the /zoom command has stopped working in Slack. After writing the command and pressing Enter/Return, I get the message "Sorry, can't handle your request right now. Please try again later." (see attached picture). What can I do here?
I cannot host meetings, participants cannot get to my room. I can stat a meeting though. I notice that the memory use is very high - I have checked on my laptop and phone - so it seems it relates to ZOOM and not my devices. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times. I've now upgraded thinking that would solve it. I have checked my device, ran scans and memory checks - all OK. I'm completely lost. Please help - and in everyday language as much as possible please. Thanking you in anticipation.
When sharing computer sound in the newest update of Zoom it now shares a screen that says Computer audio is being shared which interrupts gallery view every time I share audio. I have the option to click Meeting at the top of the window which reverts back to gallery. BUT when I stop sharing computer audio and then share it again it puts me back at the Computer audio is being shared screen and I have to click the Meeting button to disable it again. That's an extra step I absolutely DO NOT NEED!!! I need to disable this nonsense. How do I share computer audio without this screen interrupting mine and my attendees' gallery view? Why is this even a thing? How is this intrusive view even helpful?
About a week ago ZOOM did an automatic update and since then my camera is lagging. All other participants in the meetings are fine, but my camera, as the host, is not. Any advice?
Hi There! I'm a Manjaro Linux user and recently Zoom App is not saving the PREFERENCES any more! Every time I launch Zoom, I have to go through all my personal preferences all over again! I have searched for any "config" file on my PC at /home and at /opt directories and there is nothing related there! Previous version just worked perfectly! But not anymore! Any help? I teach piano lessons online to a number of students. Recently, the sound as really gotten bad. I might hear a few notes and then suddenly the sound goes out and I can't hear the student playing. I can hear their voices. Can someone help? I suspect it has to do with the zoom on their side, but I don't know how to tell them to fix it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
Through the Zoom app, the phone will not receive or make any outgoing calls when on cellular. This problem just recently started occurring. How do I reconnect the phone so that I may call and receive calls?
Hey guys. My users notified me they can no longer schedule Recurring meetings from the windows Zoom app (5.15.3). Basically these meetings types used to automatically schedule as "No Fixed Time" recurring meetings - which they loved because in the medical world patients might be given a recurring meeting, that is mondays at 2pm and Wednesday at 4pm (for example) - which could change depending on clinician availability. So recurring meeting with no fixed time is ideal, cause the Admin Assist can use the same "meeting link" for that patient, and not be stapled to a specific day and time. (avoid the headache of having to "mico schedule" everything) Yesterday the Zoom app stopped allowing this. However the option is still available via the website. Please see the following screen shots to understand. Anyone else dealing with this?
I have recently set up the integration with Zoom Phone and Salesforce. I have been doing some testing with the SMS functionality and have some questions/issues. 1. The SMS messages do not get saved to Salesforce unless I actually go into the record in the Zoom app within Salesforce. I do not imagine my users will be using the in salesforce app very much because of the other options. Is there a way for it to force save messages without viewing them in SF?2. The SMS messages, once saved, are not being related to a contact record. I tested having SF create records for Zoom phone calls, and that seems to relate the task record to the correct contact, but the SMS record doesn't relate to anything.3. You can change the task subject after the record has been created but once you have another message added to the conversation it changes the subject back to what it was originally. Is there any way to override this? I am sure I will have other issues
I tried to reach technical support on live cha but was told my account did not entitle me to that. I am sure I used in the past and I do pay for my zoom account. Have things changed recently or has the AI on live chat got it wrong?

I am using a 2022 Mac Studio with an Apple M1 Max chip. Running Sequoia 15.4.1. I'm hard wired to a 1300Mbps internet connection. Using Zoom Version 6.4.6. Every few minutes the video freezes for 3-5 seconds, then catches up again. It only happens in Zoom, never in MS Teams or FaceTime. I have uninstalled and re-installed Zoom and even purchased a new 4k camera to see if that helps. Still the same freezing issue. Has anyone found a solution?
I use Zoom to teach senior fitness classes. I use my MacBook for the camera and mic and I hook it up with an HDMI cord to my big screen tv so I can see a larger screen. Then, when I play music with Spotify on. my laptop, the sound comes through my tv and my participants can hear me talk and the music as well. All of a sudden, they can hear me, but NO music at all! So I decided to play music with my phone sitting next to the laptop, and they couldn't hear that either. But they can still hear ME loud and clear! Finally, I took my phone, playing the music as loud as possible with me and put it next to my mouth. When I talked, they could hear me, but no music. What the heck?? Can Zoom possibly be able to filter out any music and just allow voices on audio to be heard by participants?????
So let me tell you the devices I am using.Android Device - Samsung S10iPhone 11External Microphone - Wireless K8 So I bought this mic and is working as it should. When I connect it to my android and use default camera app, it starts recording audio through USB Audio and works as it should. Same goes with my iPhone. Now the problem is in Zoom Meeting Android as it is not picking up audio from the external mic while Zoom Meeting on iPhone picks up audio from the external mic as it should.Can Anyone help me with this issue? Is there a setting, or anything like?
I’m trying to figure out why suddenly last week, out of the blue and randomly colorful balloons and one time confetti filled my screen. This has been very off-putting because it’s happening in the middle of my business meetings with clients. I have checked all settings and haven’t changed any that could seem relevant. I need to disable this function but don’t see how to especially since I don’t understand what’s causing it. Any advice?
When setting up all my meeting, I turn on automatically recording to my computer. In the the last 5 (or more) sessions, the automatic recording has not worked. If I remember, I can turn it on during the live session, but would really like not to have to remember when I am live. Please advise.

We use a fleet of Meta Portals (10inch and Plus size) in the office. These work marvelously as Zoom Rooms clients and can be easily managed by the admin. I have noted after a recent meeting using one of the devices that a message appeared saying Meta (Facebook) will remove the Zoom app from the device in few weeks on January 31st. I dug around online and there is absolutely zero information on any upcoming change on Meta's website. However, Zoom has a support page which confirms it. If this were to happen, the Zoom Room clients would stop operating, correct? I mean, Rooms can't work without the Zoom app, it would seem. It is unclear if this is Meta's decision or Zoom's, but given that the app is set to be "removed" as opposed to simply becoming inoperable hints at Meta's hand. Is there nothing Zoom can do to talk them out of it? It's a 3rd party service, what does the hardware manufacturer care? Does Zoom have another hardware partner offering the same Zoom Rooms touchscreen
The Zoom AI Companion is using incorrect pronouns in the meeting summary. Please update the logic used for determining pronouns to either use the pronouns provided by the user within their Zoom account and/or always use gender neutral pronouns.
A few Zoom Desktop for macOS releases ago, the mute button on my Jabra Speak 410 Corded Speakerphone stopped working. This button was always in sync with the Zoom mute state but now seems to work independently. As a result, if I mute my Jabra Speak 410, I think the hardware is muted but Zoom doesn't show me as muted. What is a good place to file this as a bug? The Jabra 410 is listed as officially supported so it would be great if this could be fixed.
The pop up message, "unable to establish a secure connection to zoom" has appeared repeatedly over 3 hours of meetings today. Probably about every 10 seconds. It is impossible to continue to use zoom if i cannot resolve this. I have uninstalled it and re installed it, I have gone into calendars and contacts and tried to change things. Previous advice on the community said to delete existing calendars and integrity settings and reconfigure. Can someone explain this. Any help greatly appreciated.
When engaging Original sound for musicians to allow background sounds, this reverts back to full noise suppression without being requested and this can be a random time before this happens. I am running 6.3.6 which has now included an extra audio option - Live performance audio BETA. This has probably screwed the existing software, especially as this is a BETA version. Why has this not been tested fully, I need background sounds for Funeral Live Streaming so that people can hear music and hymns being sung, not any more!!!
