Tips for Improving Audio Quality in Zoom Meetings?

I’m trying to improve the audio quality in my Zoom meetings, especially when multiple people are speaking at once. Does anyone have tips or recommended settings to reduce background noise and make voices clearer?

Thanks in advance!

Hi! A few tips that usually help with Zoom audio:

  1. Enable “Suppress Background Noise” in Zoom audio settings (set it to High).

  2. Use headphones with a good mic instead of laptop speakers.

  3. Ask participants to mute when not speaking to reduce overlap.

  4. In Advanced Audio Settings, enable Echo Cancellation and Original Sound if you want more natural voice clarity.

  5. If possible, use an external USB mic  it makes a big difference.

These small tweaks usually make group conversations much clearer!

hi @James Smite ,
you can now record youre own voice into zoom so it recognises you better.

Make sure you use the smart recognition settings.

Please like and mark as the solution if this helps

All the best
