I’m building a Zoom App that uses RTMS for transcript-only live meeting ingestion. The app is in Development / Local Test mode. I have enabled RTMS-related scopes, configured Event Subscriptions with a webhook endpoint, and enabled the RTMS surface/auto-start option where available.When the app runs inside the Zoom desktop client and calls:zoomSdk.startRTMS()the SDK returns:code: 40316msg: "This api is not supported"error: "API hasn't passed marketplace verification"Questions:1. Is `zoomSdk.startRTMS()` available in Local Test / Development apps, or does it require Marketplace review/verification first?2. Are there additional account-level entitlements or approvals needed before RTMS APIs are exposed to a Zoom App?3. If RTMS is intended to support host-authorized transcript streaming, what is the recommended development/test path before Marketplace submission?The intended use case is transcript-only RTMS ingestion for a host-launched Zoom App, not a bot participant joining the meeting.
I am using the Linux Zoom client for taking a Vietnamese language class. I run Ubuntu 24.04 with X11. With xim or fcitx, and unikey or bamboo, the whiteboard is unusable. Whenever I hit the space bar, the cursor moves (xim) or vanishes (fcitx). The web client works fine. Should I give up on the native client, or is there a way to report this issue and get it fixed?
Hi folks…I tried the Zoom AI features a few days ago, and was impressed by the transcript and summary. I then downloaded and shared the MD files (date was 2026-04-16).I tried to do the same thing today, but now there’s no way of exporting the files.What happened? 🤷♂️
Is there a way to make Zoom breakout room chat settings such that when an individual leaves a room and reenters the room they are able to see the chat from BEFORE they were in the room? I am not talking about continuous chat for internal organizations - these are external folks participating in an event with breakout room engagement.

I have recently obtained an Insta360 Link 2C camera (and a Link 2 as well). When I set the camera to 1080p and 30fps in the camera control app all is good until I open a preview or call in Zoom. Then the camera is forced back to only 720p in the camera app. While the camera is being used in Zoom the setting cannot be changed. So I pause the video in Zoom, then change the resolution, then go back to Zoom and it happens again. This only happens in Zoom with the Insta360 Link 2 cameras. It does not happen in other video call services and does not happen with other brands of cameras in Zoom. The zoom and camera apps are fully up to date. The camera firmware is up to date.I uninstalled all the apps anyway and did fresh installs. No change. PC:Win10 ProfessionalRyzen 9 3950X32GB RamRTX2060 Zoom online chat doesn't understand. Insta360 have people trying to investigate the problem. Anyone have this issue and solved it? How do I fix this please?In every other plat
Hi everyone,I’m currently using the free Standard/Basic Zoom plan and I’m trying to use the AI-generated virtual background feature mentioned in Zoom’s documentation.According to the guide, there should be a “Generate with AI” button under:Zoom Workspace App → Settings → Video & Effects → Virtual BackgroundsHowever, that option does not appear for me at all. I already have virtual backgrounds enabled in the Zoom web portal, and normal image/video virtual backgrounds are working correctly.Things I’ve already checked:Virtual backgrounds are enabled in account settings Desktop app is updated to the latest version AI Companion settings appear enabled where available Regular virtual backgrounds work fineI also asked the Zoom Virtual Agent, but it couldn’t provide any details on why the feature is missing.Is this feature restricted to paid plans, specific regions, or certain hardware requirements? I use Zoom for my broadcasts, but several of my students are reporting that they can't rejoin the broadcast unless I end it and start a new one. I've tested it and I'm sure they're not logged in on other devices.It's probably a problem with Zoom not recognizing when students leave the webinar.Is anyone else facing the same problem?

Is there a way to mark Zoom SMS (not team chats) as unread? Our company uses SMS all the time for customer service, and it would be nice to not lose track of messages. This seems to be a feature that most phone services offer these days.
안녕하세요 줌 회의 진행중 화면구성과 관련하여 문의드립니다. 저희는 회의진행시 메인 발표자 1명과 참여자들이 순서대로 돌아가면서 보고 및 발표하는 형식의 회의를 주로 진행 하고 있는데 회의 여건상 화면구성을 여러발표자 모드에서 진행 하고 있습니다.여러 발표자 모드에서 진행하다보니 메인 발표자를 제외하고 1번 참여자가 발표진행후 2번 발표자가 발표하는 동안 1번 발표자가 화면의 밑으로 바로 내려가지않고 약 2분가량 발표했던 화면 위치에 그대로 있다보니 결국 화면 상단에 3명 도는 4명의 참여자가 위치하는 현상이 생깁니다. 발표를 마친 참여자가 다음 참여자로 바로 전환 되거나 발표 후 화면서 하단으로 위치하는 데 소요 되는 시간을 최소화하는 설정이나 방법은 없는지요?추가로 여러 발표자 모드에서 상단에 2명의 참여자만 고정 할 수 있는 방법이나 기능을 알고 싶습니다.

Dear all and Support Team,I am using a personal (individual) Zoom account and would like to request a change in my account settings.Currently, the option requiring all meetings to be secured by a single security method is enabled, and I am unable to modify it. This forces the use of the Waiting Room and prevents participants from joining meetings freely.I kindly ask you to:— disable the mandatory Waiting Room requirement for my account;— allow participants to join meetings before the host without being placed in a Waiting Room.This functionality is essential for my use case, as I need participants to be able to join meetings without waiting for host approval.Please let me know if any additional steps are required from my side.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,
hello,the new transcriber efficiently shows the live hebrew transcript of zoom meetings, but when coming to the saved notes, it somehow ignores all the saved data and shows the “original” transcript in different languages which are not hebrew.seems like a bug- it sould be possible to see the original transcription effectively. please fix it!

We run hybrid meetings. We have tried two set ups.A set of 10 conference room microphones for each in person participant. There is a receiver and speaker that plugs into the hosts laptop. The speaker picks up the feed from each of the 10 microphones and allows the in person participants can hear the Zoom people. For the in person audience we have a sound system in the room with microphones. The problem is the in house system causes an echo for the Zoom participants. We tried it once without the in room sound system. That was great for the Zoom participants, but the in person audience could not hear.We have a directional microphone that we would put in front of one of the loudspeakers in the auditorium. That worked fair for the Zoom people, but it picked up a lot of the other room noise and there was an echo.I we are able to put a Bluetooth transmitter on the output on our sound system can Zoom accept a Bluetooth signal as a microphone or audio source?
Hello. We often conduct meetings in a large open conference room and use a normal microphone and speakers in it. There are no fancy equipment in this room but the speakers are pretty good. Out current set upLaptop A - host (accepts participants, control)Laptop B - hdmi connected, flashes on the projector the zoom meeting, connected webcam facing the speaker, open mic for zoom participants (microphone is from the webcam)Laptop C - speaker, shares screen/presentation The problem is the audio for the zoom participants since microphone is only from the webcam, the output on their part is garbled sound and inaudible at all. I do not live in the US but please may I know what do you call a device what we can plug in to Laptop B to capture audio better in a large open area conference room

I tried to get into two zoom meetings yesterday (both invites from the same organization). Identical to weekly meetings I’ve been zooming for almost six years.I was taken to the meeting site, and could see the others...but just for a brief moment. Then a screen went up and said my device could not enter the network.My laptop is the same one that has been on the other zoom calls...and I have made no changes to it since last week’s meetings.Anyone got any advice?
Hi All,I’m on a free standard plan. Under the Zoom Workspace app->Settings->Video & effects->Virtual Bakcgrounds, the documentation says I should see a “Generate with AI button” but I don’t get one there. Any idea how to enable it? I do have virtual backgrounds enabled in the web portal settings and am able to use both video and image based virtual backgrounds now.The virtual help agent says this about it: ZVAVIRTUAL AGENT10:13 AMI can’t help with why the “Generate with AI” button is missing, because that troubleshooting detail isn’t covered in the Zoom public knowledge base content I have available.
Zoom Workplace, up to date version. If I open settings window, it stays atop of all other windows making use of other apps impossible.When I tap on View More Settings, a browser opens and... I can't use it, because the original Settings window blocks me from it.What is the sacred logic that I am unable to understand, is behind this?
