Hi everyone,After a late-May update, I can still see Captions (CC) in Breakout Rooms, but the “Transcript” option is missing inside Breakout Rooms. Therefore, I cannot save the meeting transcripts unless the conversation takes place in the main session. In the main session, the transcript option appears and works. In Breakout Rooms, captions display, but there is no save option in the captions/transcription menu. Version: Zoom Workplace desktop app 7.0.5 (same account and same PC as before)Has anyone else seen this change? Is this a known issue/limitation, or is there a workaround to enable saving captions within Breakout Rooms? If this issue is due to some feature change, I’d like to request a feature enhancement to allow the transcript option in Breakout Rooms. Thanks in advance.
When trying to send a change/update to a Zoom meeting via Outlook, I get this message and I’m prevented from sending the update. I already have Zoom installed. Why is this happening?
There are scheduled meetings every week using the same link and details. I would like a step by step guide of how to add additional one off meeting in between the scheduled meetings using the same link and details. Is this possible?
There’s a weekly meeting that I’ve attended for years. Never had a problem with seeing and saving the live transcript until a few weeks ago. Now, when I click on Transcript nothing happens. No error codes, nothing happening to the display. Zoom’s VA is dumber than mud and after literally hours trying to troubleshoot with it, I’m done wasting my time there. Others in the meeting can still see/save the live transcript just fine.I have a basic, free account. I’m using the zoom app on a Windows laptop. Windows is up to date, zoom is up to date, everything is up to date. Please help!
The end survey only appears on the lobby and the thank you emails, it would be more visible if the companion app would redirect attendees to it directly, would it be possible to add this as a new feature please?
Hello,I am experiencing a reproducible issue with the Zoom desktop client on Linux.Environment: OS: Kubuntu 24.04 Desktop: KDE Plasma Session type: X11 Zoom client: 7.0.5 (3034) Package type: official .deb, not Snap Install path: /opt/zoom GPU: Intel integrated graphics + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU xdg-desktop-portal: installed, KDE and GTK portals detected Problem:When I try to download files from Zoom chat in the desktop client, the download always fails. Zoom opens the file save dialog, I choose a destination such as ~/Downloads, /tmp, or another folder, but Zoom immediately shows Failed. The same files can be downloaded successfully from the Zoom web version. File previews inside the desktop client also work, so the file is accessible and the network side seems to be fine. The problem appears to be specific to saving/downloading files from the Linux desktop client. What I tested: Verified write permissions: touch ~/Downloads/test.txt && rm ~/Downloads/te
Can you send me details of HOSTING ZOOM MEETINGS PLEASEOn a DESKTOP PC
Our room was under construction for about 6 months and just came back online. When it came back on we keep getting the error code in the image. We have a Zoom room connected to a Crestron brain. I saw that error code 5 means a mismatch between the Crestron and Zoom. I changed my Zoom room to mountain time, and the engineer changed the Crestron unit to the correct time, but we're still getting this error.I'm also trying to update the Crestron firmware through Zoom but it's getting stuck and timing out.If the time is correct on the Crestron, could a network switch be getting in the way?Any ideas? Thanks!

Cloud recording audio and video start at 00:00, but the Zoom-generated transcript starts at 51:00. There is only one recording file set, and re-downloading the transcript does not fix it.
Can any help

I’ve been absolutely inundated with robo-calls lately. Is there something I can enable in my dashboard to prevent these? Is there some sort of prompt where the caller must press a number to be connected, or something like that?
I have bulbar onset ALS, and have to type anything I want to say on a Zoom call in the chat. Is there a way to have what is typed can be spoken? If not that is something that could be worked on.
Hi, I use my Zoom AI Companion to record and take notes of my Teams meetings as well. I just got a new laptop and for some reason it does not record the other participants in my Teams meeting now - it only records and keeps the transcript for me. How do I fix this issue? Thanks Bob
Others say they can’t hear me but I hear them fine. New iPad. I have to get my mouth really close to the microphone for them to hear me.
New zoom phone set up recently not working for and from Canada phones.
I am inviting external users to a channel and they receive the invite in their email. They accept the invite, it reflects that they joined completely fine on my end with the channel message telling me so.However, at least on Android from what I can currently reproduce, they will see the channel come up under the “All” tab in Chat, and then when tapped, it will say “Unable to join” and disappear. They can tap “Channels” and it works fine there. If someone that is currently in the channel messages anything, it will then reappear in “All” and function completely fine.Does anyone else experience this? I’ve tested myself across multiple accounts and different ways of adding and reinstalling the app on Android.Tested device info: Android 16, Zoom v7.0.5.
I have been using Zoom for a few years. Everything was good until apparently, there were some updates and all of a sudden, everything seems to be scrambled. I can get into my account but when I click on settings, my virtual backgrounds are gone and there is nothing to click to get them back. I use Linux Mint 22.2. Is there any suggestions as to how to get back on track?
how to play music on zoom call ?
My Zoom meeting did not record on my computer. I was not aware I had to download the Zoom Workplace app to do this. I've been hosting meetings from my browser for YEARS, and my settings were set to "Automatically record meeting on the local computer" (which did NOT do anything at all!)Since the process has changed, there needs to be a WARNING MESSAGE that appears before we choose "Join From Browser"!! The lack of this warning has caused me to lose recordings of two very important meetings! It needs to say "Automatic local recording won’t run if you host from the browser. Local recording requires hosting from the Zoom Workplace desktop app." I have submitted this feedback to Zoom, and I wanted to warn everyone here so you don’t lost important recordings like I did!
how do I turn on my camera?
In a wide variety of uses for chat, participants can ask questions, engage with content, share information etc. However, as constructive as this option may be, there are some that use it in order to interfere, disrupt, discourage, and inject their personal agendas, uninvited and un-welcomed opinions, offensive or degenerate content into another users platform. I would like to ask for the following options to be added to chat, as the current options lack the ability to address specific zoom customer clientele. REQUESTING ADDITION OF THE FOLLOWING CUSTOMER OPTIONS: (1) The ability to review chat content BEFORE disseminating to all participants. (2) Limit Chat input to Host and Co-Host Only. CURRENT CHAT PROTECTIONS ARE LIMITED IN SCOPE: (A) The current HOST ONLY option places limitation on the Host/Presenter, which is not always or readily convenient to the Host. (B) The ability to assign CO-Host the task to insert data to chat that is supportive, constructive, adding to the educationa
