Something has changed in recent weeks and the entire online piano teacher community is suddenly having the same issue where almost every note our students play is muted no matter what audio settings are enabled or disabled (BELIVE ME, we ALL know what audio settings are supposed to be on or off for lessons...we've been doing this for 3 years now, so please don't reply telling me to "enable original audio" or uncheck "automatically adjust microphone volume"). Students who I've had no trouble hearing ever before are suddenly all having the same problem at the same time, even after we've double-checked all audio settings. Zoom has changed something and it's screwing with our business! Can anyone shed any light on what on earth is different now and when/how Zoom is going to fix it?
Hi,I will be interviewing two people (not a job interview)about their experiences in a certain subject.I want to set their video box up as the main2 video's and my video to be smaller on the bottom.I want the video boxes of all three of us to staythe same size throughout the interview. How do I set this up in Zoom?Thank youGavin
Zoom 6.4.12macOS 15.5 In a recent upgrade Zoom has resumed its normal bad behavior by launching on macOS login. I do not want this for myself for my 60 coworkers. Zoom should only run when the user wants it to run. I do not see any of the normal ways to have it not run on its own. I assume if I remove the LaunchAgent it will just create it again. I thought that Zoom was over breaking macOS conventions and sticking its nose where not wanted. I've checked macOS user launch settings, the icon in the Dock, and settings inside of Zoom Workplace. When I see this sort of behavior there is no way in heck that I would consider buying a Zoom product, such as a Zoom phone system. Hopefully there is a simple solution and I'm just overreacting. But while I at it how do I remove the AI Companion ad from Zoom Workplace window?
When i click on zoom it doesn't work.a message appears saying that the zoom has an older version not supported anymore by my systems on my amazon fire 10 tablet device or something. What's the deal with this?
I get a red dot in the sidebar of the Zoom Workplace App and individual red dots I have to clear out in the chat pane of the workplace app every time someone enters anything into the chat or enters a meeting in my personal meeting room, and a red dot notification every time *I* enter anything in the chat during a meeting I am hosting. How do I stop this? I would like notifications for 1 or 2 chat threads that are useful and important, but they get drowned out by all the spam notifications that I don’t need (e.g. I have to “mark as read” every single time I put something in my own meeting’s chat so I can see when a colleague has added to the chat) I am in meetings 6+ hours a day with many people. The red dot has become completely meaningless, and I miss important messages in the giant pool of unnecessary notifications. I want to clarify that I have turned off every single setting related to notifications in the Zoom Desktop App and in my computer’s settings. I still get a red dot in the
I have 'original sound' and 'blur my background' set on my zoom app. When I join a meeting from a link, those settings are gone and I can't enable them again.I'm joining from browser. What am I doing wrong...I'm fairly new to zoom. Thanks in advance.
At work, there are instances when a Zoom meeting isn’t scheduled and we are meeting in person. When clicking share on the home screen on the Zoom app, it projects a mirror of my screen in the meeting. My laptop display doesn’t seem to allow me to select extend display so that I can treat the projection as a second screen. Is there a way to treat my laptop and the projection in the meeting to be two separate screen? Or, is there a way for me to use the share option on the Zoom home screen but have it give me the picker instead of automatically share my full screen? I want to project a presentation to screen but see notes on my laptop.
Hi everyone,We are currently facing a critical application-level issue with Zoom version 7.0.0. Issue Summary:Zoom is consistently showing “Offline” or getting stuck on “Connecting…” across multiple devices and platforms (desktop, mobile, different networks). Observations: Issue is not device-specific Issue is not network-specific (tested across different ISPs) Occurs on multiple accounts/devices Other internet services are working fine Troubleshooting already done: Reinstalled Zoom on all devices Cleared cache / data Switched networks (WiFi / mobile data) Disabled VPN / firewall Restarted systems Impact:This is a blocking issue affecting usability of Zoom entirely, making it a high-severity / critical problem.Questions: Is this a known issue with version 7.0.0? Is there any official acknowledgment or incident report? Any immediate workaround or rollback recommendation? If anyone else is experiencing this or has a fix, please share.Thanks.
If an individual uses a Zoom link to register to attend a session on Zoom. Does the individual use the same link to access the scheduled session that he used to register? Or will he receive a separate Zoom link for the session itself?
I regularly share my screen to annotate documents. Currently I annotate by writing with my hand held mouse, however this is becoming more difficult as my hands get older. Is there a way I could link up a tablet and 'pen' to zoom, to be able to do this as though I am writing on a piece of paper with a normal pen? If so, what would you recommend? Thank you.
I had a webinar set up and many people registered. The zoom interface to sign up is very boring, so I switched the registration to Luma, with the Zoom integration. So that people don’t have to register in 2 places, I turned off the Zoom setting “Registration Required.” But then it permanently deleted all the email addresses who signed up on Zoom. Reversing that setting change doesn’t do anything. Very bad design.

Technical situation:Debian 12 (Bookworm) Zoom Workplace via https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_amd64.debDescription / Issue / Solution:I noticed an undocumented system requirement (`libopengl0`), which lead to an nonfunctional zoom workplace client. The Zoom Workplace für Linux (https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_amd64.deb) needs since v7.0.0 the Debian package libopengl0 (https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/libopengl0 ), because the Zoom logs (`~/.zoom/logs/`) says something like “missing libOpenGL.so.0 ...”. After installing this package `apt install libopengl0` the Zoom Workplace works as before. This required packages is not listen in https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063458 .The best way would be to specify this dependency within the Debian packages itself (Section: “Depends:”). We have a company that is taking over their own Zoom Phone account. I need to remove the numbers from my account so that they can add them to their account. Is there a way to guarantee that their specific company receives the numbers. Do I start by deleting the numbers, do they need to initiate a port… Thank you,Scarlett
My company provides hybrid and virtual event production solutions that integrate the Zoom Meeting SDK. We use the SDK's live transcription feature to provide live captioning for webcast audiences. We've see that Portuguese is still not available as a supported language in the Meetng SDK's transcription implementation — despite the fact that Portuguese is supported in Zoom's native client (both for automated captions and as a default language in the interpretation feature). This issue has been brought up before, but I have not seen a response from Zoom. This creates a real business problem for us. Portuguese is the 6th most spoken language in the world and the primary language of Brazil, one of the largest and most active corporate events markets globally. We are currently unable to serve Portuguese-speaking event clients through our SDK-based platform. This appears to be an SDK parity issue rather than a missing language capability — Zoom clearly has Portuguese ASR/captioning infrastructu

Hi dear community members,I hosted recently an online masterclass and I hit record & stop two times. So there are two archives in the cloud: the first one (36 seconds), the second one (1 hour two minutes).I’d love to delete the first archive, because it has no content, and leave the last one.I see both at the same time in the list of the recordings, and the system lets me see them one after another, but I want to delete the first one and leave the second one and share it with the attendees.Do you know how can I do it? I couldn’t find a way…Thank you in advance for your answer.MontserratGirona, Catalonia, Spain
Hi everyone,we are using Zoom Contact Center and would like to build a real-time dashboard or wallboard for a specific queue. Our goal is to have a real-time tile that shows how many agents are currently opted in and ready for that specific queue. The issue is that the available dashboard widgets seem to show either global agent status or queue membership, but not the number of agents who are actually opted in to a specific queue.Example:An agent is assigned to queue XY but is not currently opted in to that queue. However, some agent availability widgets or views still include that agent because Zoom appears to distinguish between queue assignment and queue opt-in status. In the “My Agents” view, we can use the filters Queue = XY and “Fully opted-in” to display the correct agents. However, this information does not seem to be available as a dashboard tile or wallboard widget.Zoom Support confirmed that a real-time widget showing the number of opted-in agents for one specific queue is not

I am a consultant who conducts lots of interviews for projects. I have always used otter.ai for notes and then downloaded them into word. I was told by someone that the new Zoom note-taker is better because it knows how is talking and can attribute the words correctly. I have been using it the last two days and it is very good and accurate. I have is that I now have 10 separate AI Docs with transcripts. The problem is what when I try to download into Word or PDF, the only thing on the document that is downloaded is the generic Zoom title; not the actual transcript. Is there a way to do this wihout having to copy/past each entire transcript into a Word doc on my desktop?
Hello Zoom Community,I am trying to manage two meetings on the same Zoom account and I am looking for guidance on the best setup.I currently host: Advice 6:00 PMStudy 7:00 PMThere may be times when the first meeting runs over while participants are beginning to join the second meeting. My account is licensed, but I do not appear to have access to concurrent meetings.I would like to know:What is the best way to allow the 7:00 PM meeting to begin if I am still in the 6:00 PM meeting? Can an alternative host fully start and manage the second meeting without me present? If I enable “Join Before Host,” will participants be able to communicate with each other before I arrive? Are there any recommended settings or workarounds for churches or organizations running back-to-back meetings from one account?Thank you in advance for any help or recommendations.
I have not had this problem until recently, but every single time I try to log into my laptop while my desktop is connected to Zoom, it will log me out of Zoom on my desktop, even if I’m in a meeting. There used to be the option for me to login to both my desktop and laptop at the same time so that I could switch the meeting from one device to the other. I can no longer do that. What are the remedies? Is this an issue with a recent update? This happens with every single account that I have for Zoom. My Zoom accounts are free, but according to search Zoom states that you can be logged into two computers simultaneously. What is going wrong? This is driving me crazy.
Hello, I represent a training organization where we manage several Zoom virtual classrooms. We are currently facing an issue: some meeting rooms are not starting automatic recording, even though they are properly configured. Could you please explain the cause of this issue and suggest a solution? This situation is highly disruptive to our operations.
Where are my scheduled meetings?
