Settings disappear

I have 'original sound' and 'blur my background' set on my zoom app.

When I join a meeting from a link, those settings are gone and I can't enable them again.

I'm joining from browser.

What am I doing wrong...I'm fairly new to zoom.

It's not your fault, because some of the features you can access through the app only don't work or reset completely when you join Zoom from the Web version. “Original Sound” is more dependable in the desktop Zoom app, as is “Blur Background.” Use the zoom desktop app to open the meeting, if possible. After entry into the app, the settings remain active between the meetings. Some audio/video functionality is not available and cannot be enabled in the browser version, as it is restricted by the browser and permissions settings.
