Could we add and display a timestamp showing when each attendee raises their hand in a Zoom for Government webinar. This would help City Clerk staff manage public comment requests in the order received and provide greater transparency during public meetings. Ideally, the timestamp would be visible to hosts and co-hosts and included in webinar reports for audit purposes.
When the host disables "Allow Participants to Raise Hand" in a Zoom Webinar, all existing raised hands are cleared from the queue. We request that existing raised hands remain visible and retain their position in the queue, while preventing new participants from raising their hands. This functionality is needed for public meetings, where the City Clerk closes public comment for an agenda item but must still recognize speakers who raised their hands before the comment period ended. The current behavior requires staff to take screenshots of the queue before disabling hand raises, creating unnecessary administrative burden and increasing the risk of errors.
Our team uses shared call queues and voicemail queues in Zoom Phone, and we're curious how other organizations handle tracking voicemail ownership and callback activity.Ideally, we'd like the ability for a queue member to:Mark a voicemail as completed/resolved after returning a call. Add wrap-up notes or call outcomes that are visible to all queue members. Provide visibility into who handled the voicemail to avoid duplicate callbacks. We've tried using tasks and team chat as workarounds. While they help, they require additional manual steps and don't provide a centralized view for everyone in the queue. Task visibility can also be limited depending on who is involved.Has anyone found a more efficient workflow for managing this in Zoom Phone? If these capabilities aren't currently available, we'd love to see them considered as future enhancements to improve collaboration and queue management.
We use Poly Edge e350 phones (current firmware 8.5.0.1491) as our primary device for Zoom Phone. We have noticed that if we answer a call on our Poly Edge e350 and then use the “Switch” feature to move that call to either a headset on a Zoom Workplace PC or a mobile device, then microphone audio is muted. You can still hear the person on the other end, but they can no longer hear you. We have a ticket open with Zoom on this, but they haven’t made much progress. I’m wondering if anyone else using Poly Edge e350 devices (or other Poly Edge models) is experiencing this issue or can replicate it? We think the problem has existed for several months, but no one reported it because it felt like a one-off issue. But once we started investigating and figured out the parameters, we can reproduce the issue 100% of the time.
I already have a hand-raised app which stops people from disrupting meetings and webinars with constantly raising and lowering their hands. After seeing a number of people posting about hand-raising situations, I will be looking to extend the app or create a new one to provide more support around hand-raising.Ideas so far.Track people who hand-raised into a list Manage hand-raising Counting those who have raised hands and maybe yes/no too.Would love some feedback and use case ideas.I will push for Zoom to make these part of the core product, but I can do quite a lot building another workplace app.On the privacy side, we would only know users' screen names, not their personal information. I teach internationally and my student share their screen when they get stuck editing…. I believe you can see multiple shared screens but then you lose the ability to control their screen if they’re really stuck. Anybody out heir have a similar issue or advise?
If we dont have Zoom CRC license with us and want to connect Zoom call from our Cisco Room kit plus device. is it possible?
Hi, last week I used Zoom Pro account (for 100 participants) and I could create small group chat with a few participants in my meeting. Then my Zoom Pro account expires and I joined a team (organization), now I can host meeting with 300 participants. But I could no longer create small group chat in my meeting anymore. Now the chat windows doesn’t have the button to “create new chat”, instead I could only chat in the same windows like the old Zoom (2 years ago).Does anyone face the same problem?
Hola. Estoy buscando una licencia de meetings para 3000 usuarios. Si alguien puede arrendarmela o alquilarla por un dia. Estare agradecido.
Is there a way to default the menu for all those attending a meeting so that Q&A is visible and not hidden in “more”. We use it for less formal info sessions, but it’s been annoying to use as non zoom natives don’t know to look in the more menu, and end up defaulting to chat. Am I missing the option?
I’m really tired of Zoom changing the size of the video window in my host recordings on the computer, from what I set it to before the meeting starts. It looks fine in the meeting when a participant shares a screen, but the recording shrinks the video window down. When I say video window I mean the picture-in-picture window of the person speaking next to the shared screen in side by side mode. Zoom themselves are useless. They have no clue. This just started as a result of one of Zoom’s totally unnecessary updates. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!
Hi everyone,I am organizing an online meeting for 140 participants and need some expert advice on the best workflow, as I’ve encountered several limitations during my dry runs. Our Setup: License: Zoom Workplace Pro (considering an upgrade to Large Meeting if necessary). Requirements: A main plenary session followed by 4 breakout rooms. Accessibility: We have professional Sign Language interpreters who need to be visible alongside the speakers in both the plenary and all 4 breakout rooms. Language is English, participants come from over Europe. The Challenges: Spotlighting: I cannot seem to spotlight both the speaker and the interpreter simultaneously within the breakout rooms. Participants struggle to see both. Recording: Breakout rooms are not automatically recording to the cloud, and local recording requires manual action from participants. As for exporting the chat. Closed Captioning: AI-based live transcription doesn't seem to carry over or function within the breakout room

Hi, My housebound 94 year old MIL has been using Zoom on her ipad since Covid lockdown to keep in touch. She finds it invaluable. Recently she has experienced problems logging in to meetings due to continuous pop ups asking her to upgrade and now the addition of Calendar items filling up her home screen and reducing the size of the Join Button. Is there a way to get rid of all the clutter to just allow her to log in to a meeting without all the confusion it causes her?
Hoping someone can help me out with this. I started the recording at the beginning of the meeting. We got the standard audio notification that the meeting was being recorded. Then over an hour later the same audio notification came on letting us know the meeting is now being recorded. There was no notice that the recording stopped. There was no cohost, only me, and I didn’t stop or pause the recording. There was no internet connection issue. That hour gap is not recorded. There are two separate recordings, the first 20 minutes and the last 25 minutes. An hour in between is missing. What would have caused this issue and how can it be avoided moving forward? Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.
I run customer research interviews over Zoom and process transcripts programmatically (via Claude/AI tools). After each interview, I extract key quotes with exact timestamps and want to save short clips of those moments as permanent Zoom Clips to share with stakeholders in Notion. The current manual friction: The Watch Highlights feature auto-selects moments I didn't choose. To create clips from my own extracted quotes, I have to: open the recording, deselect all of Zoom's auto-highlighted moments, then manually hunt for and select each of my timestamps. This is the most tedious step in an otherwise automated workflow. What I investigated: - The Zoom Clips REST API (/clips) only supports uploading video files — there's no endpoint to create a clip from an existing cloud recording by specifying a time range - Watch Highlights has no API surface at all — it can't be controlled or pre-seeded programmatically What I'd need to automate this: 1. POST /recordings/{meetingId}/cli
Hi All, I have prepared the follow up e-mails and added the link to deck and the recordings. But recipients got only the default side drafted by Zoom but not the links. I tried to sent he preview e-mail to myself, and I got the the links. Can anyone help me to solve the issue if you had it already. ThanksFergul
My webinar plan ended a few days ago and the 2-day webinar was last week. I’m looking for reports and analytics for the 2 webinars.I cannot access the analytics and reports because the plan ended, but the message on the analytics page says:Your Zoom Webinar 300 will be canceled on Jun 13, 2026. By the date, you can reactivate your webinar licenses. From Jun 13 - Jul 13, you can contact customer support to get existing Webinars' reports. After Jul 13, 2026, you will lose all your account's Webinars' data. However I cannot access any live help, only the AI agent, so cannot request the analytics and reports. How can I request the reports from a live agent to send me the reports and analytics? Thanks

Hi everyone! Is it possible to disable the participants' cameras when creating the meeting?
Hey community, I'm an online music teacher and I conduct all my practical classes via Zoom meetings. Recently, my students have started complaining that the background tracks I play from Spotify sound very muffled and low-quality due to Zoom's audio compression on Android. On top of that, sudden loud ads during a live lesson are becoming highly embarrassing for me as a professional. Since I use an Android phone for my setup, is there any way to bypass this compression and stream crisp, ad-free music? Are there any specific app modifications or configurations that fellow musicians use here? I am currently trying to troubleshoot this using some audio optimization guides from Soundify but any direct workaround for Android would be a lifesaver. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am a Zoom Pro subscriber and I have lost ALL the content of my Notes completely. Here is my situation:I can still see the titles of my notes, but all the content/transcriptions inside have completely disappeared I had many notes linked to past meetings that I had not yet processed The Trash is empty — nothing to restore I have only one single Zoom account I did not delete anything manuallyThis is a serious data loss for me professionally. These notes contained important information from client meetings that I cannot recover any other way.I have already tried:Checking the Trash tab → empty Checking account settings for Notes feature → enabled Logging out and back inI need urgent escalation to a technical team for server-side investigation and potential data recovery. Can a Zoom employee or moderator please help escalate this case?Thank you.
If you are facing audio and video issues in Zoom Meetings, the problem is usually related to device settings, permissions, internet connection, or outdated software.First, check your microphone and camera permissions. Make sure Zoom has access to your device’s microphone and camera in system settings. For audio issues, ensure the correct speaker and microphone are selected inside Zoom settings. Test your audio before joining a meeting and unmute yourself if needed. If there is no sound, try plugging in headphones or restarting the app.For video issues, verify that the correct camera is selected and not being used by another application. Restarting your camera or switching to a different device can help resolve the issue.A weak or unstable internet connection can also cause lag, freezing, or poor audio/video quality. Switching to a stable Wi-Fi network or using a wired connection improves performance. Also, make sure your Zoom app is updated to the latest version, as outdated versions oft
