Responses from the invitees

There used to be a way for invitees to respond to the meeting request. They checked a box saying accepted or not accepted for the meeting. That doesn’t seem to be availalbe any more. Now my invitees are not getting my invites?

Could someone help me with understanding what happened to this option?

Thank you.

    Hello @Jessica Rareshide,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We’re glad to have you here!

Zoom itself does not provide built-in RSVP or response tracking for meeting invites. The ability for invitees to accept or decline a meeting request typically comes from your calendar application (such as Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar), not directly from Zoom.

If your invitees are not receiving your invites or cannot respond, here are some things to check:

    1. How are you sending the invites? - If you schedule a Zoom meeting and use the “Add to Calendar” option, the calendar app sends the invite, and recipients can accept or decline.  - If you copy and paste the Zoom link into an email, there won’t be an RSVP option.

    2. Are you using a calendar integration? - If you previously used Google Calendar or Outlook integration, make sure it’s still connected and working. - If you’re scheduling directly from the Zoom web portal or app, try using the “Add to Calendar” feature.

    3. Check spam or junk folders. - Sometimes, invites may go to spam or junk folders.

    4. Calendar permissions. - Make sure your calendar permissions allow you to send invites and that your invitees’ email addresses are correct.

If you want to restore RSVP functionality, schedule your Zoom meetings using your preferred calendar app and send the invites from there. This will allow invitees to accept, decline, or mark as tentative.

Thank you for this clear explanation of how I can address this problem. I will try this tomorrow. Again, I appreciate the quick reply.
