How to Restore the Data

Hello Everyone,

We are a Zoom reseller partner, and I previously had a Business account under my company. As part of our Platinum Partner engagement, I requested our Channel Solution Engineer to provide access to Zoom Phone, Webinar, and Webinar Plus for demo and practice purposes on my official company email ID.

However, after this access was granted, my existing account data was unexpectedly removed. I was added as a member under another account, and my original account data appears to have been overwritten.

To clarify the situation:

  • I manage two email IDs:

    • One for demo and competency purposes

    • One official company email ID (Admin account)

  • I had Zoom Phone access on the demo email for Phone competency, which we successfully completed.

  • I then requested Webinar and Webinar Plus access on my official email ID.

  • After the access was enabled, I noticed:

    • I had been added as a member under the Partner SE’s account

    • My existing data under my company admin account was wiped out

Since this is my official admin account and I manage users within my organization, I requested the Partner SE to remove that access. Once removed, the system treated me as a completely new user and prompted first-time setup.

At present, all my previous data is missing, including:

  • Chat history

  • Contacts

  • Meetings (past and scheduled)

  • Whiteboards

  • Zoom Docs

We understand that deleted users cannot typically be restored, but in this case, the user was not deleted from our organization’s side. This change occurred during the access modification process.

Could you please assist in investigating this issue and advise if there is any way to restore the previous account data?
