We recently hosted an Office Hours conversation around the things we wish we knew before starting with Zoom Events. It was a fun conversation with a ton of great content and feedback from the Zoom Events user community! Wanted to drop the key takeaways here, or feel free to register and watch the session. 1. License Settings Shape Everything — Audit Early and OftenYour license holder's web portal settings directly control event functionality — even when hosting through the events portal. Critical toggles like co-host permissions, screen sharing, Q&A, and recording options must be reviewed before launch. Many teams discover these limitations mid-event, forcing rushed fixes during rehearsals or live sessions. Kelly Carvalho's advice: audit your account settings (meeting, webinar, and recording) at the user level before your first event to ensure your production capabilities match your vision.2. Authentication Is Your Access Control Strategy — Not Just a ToggleAuthentication controls w

If your IT team wants to understand the Zoom Marketplace connector for Sharepoint and Zoom Virtual Agent, below you will find common questions and best practices. Link the to connector is here. 1. How Authentication and Permissions WorkWhen you connect SharePoint as a knowledge base source in Zoom Virtual Agent, the integration uses OAuth authentication. This means: The SharePoint account used during authentication authorizes the connection between Zoom and Microsoft 365. The Virtual Agent does not gain elevated or independent permissions — it can only access content that the authenticated account has permission to view. In other words, the Virtual Agent “inherits” the same access rights as the SharePoint account used to establish the connection. This design ensures that SharePoint’s native access controls remain fully enforced. If a document or site is restricted for that account, the Virtual Agent will not be able to retrieve or surface it. 2. Restricting Access to Specific Sites
👋 Welcome to the Zoom Slides Community Creating presentations is one of the most common parts of work. Yet for many people, it's still more time-consuming than it should be. Ideas are scattered across meetings, documents, chats, emails, and countless browser tabs. Turning those ideas into a clear and compelling presentation often takes hours of gathering, organizing, designing, and refining. We're building Zoom Slides to make that process simpler. A place where ideas can move naturally from thinking → creating → presenting → getting buy-in. 🚀 New to Zoom Slides? Hi all,We run a small transportation/booking team (airport taxi flat rate service) that operates 24/7 across multiple shifts, and we're trying to set up Workspace Reservation properly for our dispatch office.A few questions:Can Workspace Reservation handle overlapping shift schedules (e.g., day shift and night shift using the same desks/rooms at different hours)? Is there a way to reserve a workspace recurring on specific days only, without manually booking each week? Does the reservation system integrate with Zoom Rooms for quick huddles between dispatchers and drivers coordination calls?Any best practices from other teams running round-the-clock operations would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!P.S. — if anyone's curious what our setup looks like, we run Airport Taxi Toronto Flat Rate (airporttaxitorontoflatrate.com), a 24/7 flat-rate airport taxi and limo service in the GTA.
How do I stop Zoom from sending Meeting assets after a hearing.
Hi🌈🌈🌈 I would just like to know how much it would cost me for a 90 minutes meeting for over 100 hosts in a Zoom meeting ❓
Dear Zoom Support, I am a licensed paid Zoom host, and I am experiencing a serious issue with annotation tools on the Android app. I no longer have access to the Text (T) tool or the full set of 12 colours when annotating while sharing my screen. My annotation options are now limited to Pencil, Spotlight, Pen, Highlighter, Line, Rectangle, Oval, Undo, Redo, Clear, and only 5 colours (yellow, green, red, blue, black). This happens on both my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Samsung Galaxy A73 phone. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom, but the issue remains. Strangely, my students still have access to the Text tool and more colours on their devices, while I do not, even though I am the paying licensed host. This problem makes it very difficult to run my classes, as I rely on annotating shared documents (not the whiteboard). Please can you confirm if this is a bug or an intentional change to mobile annotation tools? If it is inte
Lately, whenever I start Zoom on a Windows 11 machine, it immediately opens my web browser to a Zoom shopping cart page, with Zoom Workplace Pro already in the shopping cart. I have no interest in that product, nor in any product that is continually shoved down my throat. I understand if you want to ASK me ONCE if I’d like to upgrade. But to repeatedly open a shopping cart with a product already loaded into it without the user’s request or permission is really obnoxious. How can I keep this from happening?
Hi All, I am not getting any audio come through in a meeting today when people have been talking. This is not an issue with my actual chromebook speakers because I can hear the audio test tone perfectly fine, I can hear music on spotify, and the audio on youtube videos works absolutely fine. The only time I am getging any issues is when trying to hear people speak in a Zoom meeting - I can even hear the join and leave bell notification sounds during the meeting, which is even more confusing because these audio cues work on Zoom for Chrome but actually hearing people doesn't work! INCREDIBLY frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Hello,I would like to report a regression introduced in Zoom Workplace 7.0.0 (build 77593) on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1, Apple Silicon.Behavior observedWhen clicking the "Claim Host" button (bottom right of the Participants panel), the button flashes briefly but the password entry dialog never appears. Hi , completely new to using zoom or any similar product . I have only just signed in and will need zoom during a meeting lasting approximately 90 minutes . I will probably only need to use it once or twice . Which zoom package is best for me ?
After digging deeper into this, I found the solution, and IT IS AN APPLE “feature” that no one seems to be fond of, including me. • To turn off the virtual ring light border on your screen during video calls, you need to disable the Edge Light feature introduced in macOS Tahoe. • Follow these steps while your video call is active: • • Look at the macOS menu bar at the very top of your screen. • • Click on the green camera / video conferencing icon that appears while Zoom or FaceTime is running. • • Locate Edge Light in the dropdown menu. • Click on Edge Light to turn it off completely (or click the arrow next to it to disable any "Automatic" toggles so it does not turn itself back on in low-light environments). Once turned off, the illuminated border will instantly disappear from your MacBook Pro screen.
In Zoom Notes, I see the live transcript during meetings and the note indicates a transcript exists afterward. When I click Done, sometimes the transcript is available quickly, but other times I get “Transcript is unavailable” or it takes 1–2 days before it appears. This happens both in the Zoom desktop app and in the browser. The note content can be summarized, which suggests transcript data exists, but the download/transcript access appears blocked or misconfigured.
Hi all, My Zoom meetings started freezing every few seconds. It used to be so much better. My Zoom version is up-to-date. Just bought a new high-speed Internet. I don't have any similar products running on my computer. I even close all of the apps (including Internet, docs etc) all to no avail.I wonder if it may have something to do with my account provisioned in the US but I am located in Canada??? I could be connecting to the US server instead of the local one here in Canada. Then again, my Zoom experience was really good until a couple of months ago when all of a sudden it started giving me this freezing problem. Thinking that my 2-yr old router could be the issue, I got a new router. The Internet speed is extremely high. So, I don't think it has anything to do with the router. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance...Justie
On this page https://zoom.us/user/meeting/transcript#/transcripts there's only the information: No transcriptsYou are not allowing meeting hosts to retain and access meeting transcripts. Where do I allow the host to retain and access transcripts?
