Hi,

 

We are a nonprofit organization running webinars and meetings. Currently, we have two licensed Zoom accounts, but this requires the account holders to spend significant time starting and attending meetings that don't directly involve them.

 

Given our limited number of meetings and webinars, additional licenses are not justifiable. When we create users with basic accounts, they seem to function independently, similar to if they were set up separately.

 

Is there a way to set up master/sub accounts to allow basic plan users to start meetings on behalf of the licensed accounts? Would recordings still function properly in this setup? Can we still exceed 40 minutes? And use our increased meeting capacity? 

 

We currently do not have the option for master/sub configuration. The advice suggests contacting our account executive for more information. How can I identify who our account executive is?

Created a single session webinar, Live, with enabled Livestreaming. I have created a polling question for my live webinar in event. Once I launch that polling question in zoom workplace, I cannot create another. Just states "You cannot edit a poll when it has been launched" which is confusing to me. How can I create an additional polling question?

Received Permission to Record Webinar to my Computer as Panelist, but Cannot Find File

I was a panelist in a webinar today. I requested permission from the host to record the webinar and received it. The red "record" function was active throughout the webinar and we received the audio notification that recording was in progress. After it ended, I did not see any indications that the recording was downloading to my computer, and cannot find the files. Is there any chance it could have saved to the host's cloud, or anywhere on their device? I have searched my computer for any zoom-related files, and have not been able to find it. I also checked the recording folder for the account I was logged into.

Cant open event recording of event host sent to me

Can't open event recording of event host sent to me. Error message you dont have cloud recording. I am a free user.

Transcripts in Webinar

Hey all! 

 

I was trying to use the transcript feature in a webinar but it was not working, is it possible to use?

 

The main account that the webinar was created in was NOT on the call but I was a co host and could not do it.

Can someone please tell me what settings I need to check so that:

1. Host (me)  is recorded in the webinar when I share my screen (see pic "1" - only screenshare visible in recording)

2. Host and panelist with cameras off don't appear in the recording as small videos when another panelist is presenting (see pic "2" where videos are present on the right)

3. When in gallery view (needed because two people are having a conversation), only host and panelist with camera on should be visible - how do I get rid of the "Pam" square (Pam was a panelist). (See pic "3")

 

Thank you. This is rather urgent since I am recording tomorrow and last time was not good. In the past I have not had this issue so I am not sure what was different this last time.

Hello! I used the "Livestream to YouTube" feature for the first time and had a bad experience:

 

Every 20 seconds, it restarted the audio, overlapping on top of me continuing to present. You couldn't understand what I was saying because it was restarting the webinar on top of me over and over again. After 3 minutes, I ended the event because it sounded like 10 of me talking over myself. Both the Zoom Webinar recording and YouTube livestream recording sound like this.

 

Has anyone else had this issue? Any fixes?

Hi all,

All of my previous webinars under 30 days, associated recordings and reports have gone missing.
Zoom has been wiped clean.

Can any of this be restored?

I have been running a webcast with registration.  We have over 6000 current registrants.  We want to start using Zoom Webinar going forward.  The problem I am having is importing the 6000 current registrants.  I can import their Name and email address. But all the custom fields like Title, Organization..... do not import.   Is this a limitation of Zoom's import?

I need a bit of guidance for Saturday's webinar, I have two quick points to address to ensure a smooth experience.

Firstly, I've already distributed the attendee link. However, I now need to generate separate, unique invitation links specifically for our 15 panelists who will be joining before the general attendees. Could you please advise on how I can create this panelist list and generate these individual links?

Secondly, I want to double-check that all attendees will definitely be muted automatically when they join the webinar. Could you please guide me on how to verify this setting within the platform?
