This is INSANELY confusing as a webinar attendee.  There is now an icon for SETTINGS on the attendee tool bar and it looks like the options one would have as a Meeting participant. As a host I do not see any way to turn these off. I hope to hades this is a bug that can be fixed because my attendees are going to be SO confused. As a webinar attendee they don't need to see these as options, even if it isn't really an option - for example, they cannot turn on their video yet they get a video preview as a webinar attendee as if it were an option.

Is there a new setting as a webinar host that I am missing to turn off these options from attendees even seeing them?

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I wonder if anyone, particularly someone from Zoom, can speak to the issue of the overwhelming amount of webinar spam that's going out. It seems that some email addresses have been handed out to different marketers, and those marketers are regularly signing up people to Zoom conferences that they haven't asked for. Because of the way my system is set up, when I get a meeting request, it goes on to my calendar, and then I have to deal with it. Sometimes, I just get an email saying that the webinar is starting, and it's all junk. I've requested several times to have my name removed from the list. I don't want to be removed from all webinars because I do have to attend them as part of my work, but I'm absolutely fed up with the amount of webinar spam that I'm getting through Zoom. I think it's not just bad for the companies that are producing this spam but it's also bad for Zoom as a brand.

We are changing some roles in our organization, and I will no longer be hosting a series of repeating webinars that I have created templates for. I would like to copy those templates to another user in the same account, who will host the webinars. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this without deleting my account. I don't want to delete my account, as I will still be using it for other meetings. It seems like this is something that we should be able to do.  Is it, if so, how can we do that?

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Resolved! Webinar with participant camera

Is there a way to set up a webinar in which the webinar participant will have their camera on, but mic will be off until unmuted by host?

Hello

I’m reaching out regarding a technical issue we encountered during a recent webinar hosted by our company, and I’m hoping to get some assistance in resolving it for future sessions.

Here’s a summary of the issue:

  • Whenever our executive, who served as the webinar host, unmuted themselves to speak, participants experienced significant feedback and echo.
  • This occurred even though all participants were muted during the session.
  • The webinar host did not personally experience any feedback or echo on their end while speaking.
  • The host was using a laptop with built-in speakers and a built-in microphone in a private office environment.

Given that participants were muted, we’re unsure what might have caused the feedback. Please help in diagnosing and resolving this issue to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees in the future. I've looked at other articles on audio feedback resulting from a second device picking up sound but per the webinar host this wasn't the issue.

Zoom Webinars Subscription Fee – 2026

During 2025, we have been paying $168 for the Zoom Webinars | 1,000 Attendees – Promotion plan. I would like to ask whether there will be an increase in this fee for 2026.

Hi, a couple weeks ago I created a webinar (as per normal process - nothing different). And that usually creates a registration link which I normally share with my registrants so they can join on the day.

But once the webinar started, I noticed we only had 3 participants (normally we have 50+) and so I went and tested the link that was sent to registrants. And the link was leading to another webinar with the exact same title and exact same settings....just a different ID. Can someone help me understand how in the world this could have happened if I only had one webinar created?

Thanks!

A weird issue that has only just started this week in a large corporate environment which appears to implicate Zoom’s Cloud Room Connector for both Webinars and Meetings:

- laptop to laptop - music AOK
- laptop to Cisco - music not ok with original music mode making no difference
- Cisco to laptop - music not ok with Cisco’s noise cancelling, Neutral and Music selections making no difference

- Cisco to Cisco over Zoom - music also not ok

Anyone else hearing recent Cloud Room Connector music issues?

Have you guys seen any issues this week? I’m wondering if it is actually a new Zoom fault. I’ve seen it on multiple meetings and webinars in different locations.
