Webinar Emails to Registrants/Attendees

The emails that are automatically generated to confirm registration and reminders for attendees appear to have "Zoom" as the sender. I want the sender to be my organization, but can't figure out where to modify/indicate that. Can anyone help? Show more

I'd like to double-check my understanding of the differences between webinars and meetings.  We have a Pro Account.  The size of the meeting is not an issue as we will have under 500 participants.  We have LOTS of experience hosting meetings, typically with under 50 participants, but we've never hosted a webinar.  Next month we will be hosting larger events with more outsiders, hence my question. I'm not concerned about the cost for the webinar license, I just want to know if we have a compelling reason to convert these events to webinars.

I know that in a meeting, I can:

  • set people to mute automatically on entry
  • turn off people's ability to unmute themselves unless they are explicitly asked to unmute by the host
  • turn off participant screen sharing
  • turn off chat, though I may not want to do that
  • I can even turn off the participant's video, though I don't want to do that

I know all about using the waiting room in a meeting and how to remove disruptive participants if needed.

In our case, a big reason we like Zoom meetings is that it allows true interactivity between participants and the speakers.  We love being able to show the questioner's face wherever they are located.

The above seems like all the security I need in terms of controlling the event and preventing disruptive behavior.  AM I MISSING ANYTHING?

David

How can I see the Attendees during a webinars.
I see the Panelists but I would like to feel more connected to the attendees and see them on my screen.
I can't find a view where I can see them

Changing Ticket Type for Registrant

For an upcoming Zoom Event webinar, I have two ticket types, in-person and virtual. One of my registrants would like to change from virtual to in-person. Is there a way I can do this administratively?

Hi All,

I just created a webinar (been doing them for years), and normally I add the speaker's headshot and bio under BRANDING section as described here https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002548166-Customizing-webinar-branding-settings .

But today when I create a webinar, the branding section doesn't have a Speakers section / add Speaker button.  It only has Title, Banner, Logo, Post Attendee URL, and Survey. I can't imagine the ability to upload a speaker photo/bio would disappear.   Did it move?

Thanks,

Q.

Hello! We just tested the Zoom translated captions add-on with an audience during a webinar. One bit of feedback we got is that the option to translate was not available for attendees viewing on their mobile device.

Is the option not available for mobile view or is this a technical issue? Anyone else have any valuable feedback on the translated captions from their attendees?

Thanks!

I have read that concurrent Webinars cannot be hosted from the same account.  I am wondering if I have set up all my webinars in one account, but some do overlap.  So if I give some of the webinars an "Alternate Host" that has Webinar Capability, can they start the webinars that overlap and record it to their account?

I don't want to move the webinars to another account because I have already set up all the Webinar Panelists and sent out all the speaker notifications.

Also, the second webinar would only be in "Practice Mode" until the previous webinar was stopped.  Then the second webinar would be "Started" letting participants into the meeting.

Thanks for your help brainstorming on this.

To Cancel a Registration

Hi, I am wanting to know if there is a way to remove this text from the webinar registration approved page (once the ticket sale has gone through). I have removed it from the confirmation email but would like it gone from here too.
