When i used to schedule a meeting through zoom, it would automatically save to my outlook just once. Now it is saving it twice - one with the link and the other as an invite. Why does this happen? The old system worked just fine. This is a professional account so all I need is the syncing to outlook, but why does it replicate twice!?

This comes down to the integration between outlook and Zoom. Zoom provides an API but unfortunately the outlook plugin isn't robust. You could remove the second meeting from your calendar manually. Alternatively there is Zoom marketplace app, Salepager, that lets you schedule Zoom meetings and sync to your outlook calendar.
