Hi!

I'm working with the Zoom Scheduler API and need assistance creating an "All Hosts Available" booking page programmatically.

What I've accomplished:

  • Successfully created "All Hosts Available" booking pages through the Zoom web interface
  • These pages correctly show multiple hosts and display only time slots when ALL hosts are available

The Problem: When I attempt to create the same type of booking page via the API endpoint POST /v2/scheduler/schedules, the page is created as "One to One" instead of "All Hosts Available", despite including multiple availability_rules.

My API Request: POST https://api.zoom.us/v2/scheduler/schedules?user_id={userId}

Request Body (simplified):

{
    "add_on_type": "zoomMeeting",
    "availability_rules": [
        {
            "availability_id": "c85ksq8wi530gygwdjeoshlba0",
            "email": "***********",
            "segments_recurrence": { ... },
            "time_zone": "Asia/Singapore"
        },
        {
            "availability_id": "dyed1cor2zqcp59mfoxucqqde0",
            "email": "***********",
            "segments_recurrence": { ... },
            "time_zone": "Asia/Singapore"
        }
    ],
    "attendees": [
        {"email": "***********", "host": true},
        {"email": "***********", "host": true}
    ],
    "pooling_type": "multiPool",
    "user_pools": [{
        "pooling_type": "collective",
        "selected_users": [
            "***********",
            "***********"
        ]
    }],
    "schedule_type": "one",
    "duration": 30,
    "summary": "Test Booking Page",
    ...
}

What I've observed:

  1. The API accepts the request without errors
  2. A booking page is created successfully
  3. However, the created page type is "One to One" instead of "All Hosts Available"
  4. When I GET the schedule via API (GET /v2/scheduler/schedules/{scheduleId}), the response does NOT include pooling_type, user_pools, or attendees fields
  5. However, when I inspect a working "All Hosts Available" page (created via UI) in the browser console, these fields ARE present in the frontend data

My questions:

  1. What is the correct API method to create an "All Hosts Available" booking page?
  2. Is there a separate endpoint for creating or managing user pools?
  3. Are the pooling_type, user_pools, and attendees parameters supported in the POST /v2/scheduler/schedules endpoint?
  4. Is there additional documentation for creating multi-host scheduling pages via API?

Environment:

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on the correct approach to programmatically create "All Hosts Available" booking pages.

Thank you for your assistance!

I've been trying the scheduler trial and I have to say I'm perplexed. I've used Calendly for years. And for my needs, most are handled with the Zoom Scheduler version. But two things that I seem to see that are a pain:

1) I can't have a page where the person can select between a zoom meeting and in person. In calendly I can. And for my type of work, I need people to have that option.

2) It takes FOREVER for optional times to load for someone to select in the calendar!! Calendly loads optional times/the calendar within 1-2 seconds. Zoom's Scheduler takes approximately 45 seconds (at fastest so far) up to 2 minutes! For most people seeing the little "wheel of death" as we used to call it, it meant the page crashed. So I can imagine the clients closing out the page assuming it's broken when it's just trying to load.

Does anyone else have this issue? I've only got 1 calendar (my ical) attached. It's the only calendar I use for everything. And as I said, Calendly will load the page in a second or two, but a minute or 2 can be perceived as a crashed page and it's rather annoying. ZOOM PEEPS, Any help??? Or is that just how Zoom plans to have this product run?

Sincerely,

Hopeful but not hooked yet.

I'm just adding dates, and keeping the hours to 9 to 5, click add, see the date added, but when I navigate the scheduler page, I still see the date showing and I'm able to book an appointment.

What am I missing? Is there a tick somewhere to make this work?

Hey Guys,

I like the auto call feature when you have a Zoom meeting scheduled let's say at 6:00pm. At 6Pm Zoom gives you an auto phone call, and when you answer the call, there is a pop up to join your Zoom meeting. However when a client uses Zoom scheduler to book a Zoom phone call, the call gets booked and plugged into my schedule, but at the time of the phone call appointment, there is no auto call, and only a Zoom desktop pop up appears. Anyone know if this auto call feature would work for a scheduled Zoom call?

No U.S. Area Code?

Am I just missing it, or is USA (+1) not selectable when entering a phone number?  I have had to use Puerto Rico to get the +1 in front of my number.  I might have missed it since there seems to be no order to the countries.

Did something recently change with the 12 hr vs. 24 hr time format settings in Zoom Scheduler?

Scheduler Settings -> Profile -> Time Format

I am a user based in the United States, and I want my public meeting pages to display with a 24 hour time format (e.g. 13:00) by default. However, that's not happening anymore, even though I have the setting turned on. They are displaying in a 12 hour time format. Anybody else having this issue?

Hello,

We've recently run into an issue with some of our booking pages and feel it might stem from  misunderstanding how the host distributions options work. Hoping someone can help clear this up.

Priortize fairness (the option we had selected): At a certain point users were no longer able to book any new appointments with our hosts at all as it would appear all of our hosts were considered either "overbooked" or unavailable (even though some of the hosts had nothing in their calendars at all). Troubleshooting the booking page confirmed this.

This was a major problem since we cannot be in a situation where there are no booking slots available and these "overbooked" hosts were only technically overbooked if you looked at the entirety of the booking page and not the day itself. (example: 3 appointments in the next 3 months isn't really considered overbooked unless all 3 are on the same day).

We've now changed it to Prioritize availability, however if all 8 hosts have the same priority set, will it still round-robin or if our first host (i assume alphabetical) happens to be available for each selected booking slot, will they always be the host that is scheduled in?
