Recurring meetings with no fixed time are no longer appearing on the desktop client

With the latest update, version 6.2.0, recurring meetings with "No Fixed Time" have been removed from the desktop client home screen and calendar. There is no way to put them back on there without changing them to a fixed schedule and end date. Tell Zoom that this change MUST BE REVERSED. I and thousands of other users routinely use Zoom to hold meetings with no fixed schedule and no end date. We don't use the Zoom calendar for anything -- we have our own calendar and invitation systems. All recurring meetings should be available somewhere on the client home screen. We need this!

I completely agree — the “No Fixed Time” recurring meeting option was very useful for ongoing sessions. Removing it from the desktop client makes things much harder for teams that rely on flexible scheduling.
Hopefully Zoom reverts this change in the next update or at least adds an alternative view for such meetings.

Absolutely - the main reason I go to the desktop website is to SET UP recurring meetings with no specific time and not end date.

Terrible to omit this!!!

Absolutely!! The main reason I even go to the website is to set up recurring meetings with no specific time and no end date.

This is a TERRIBLE omission!

Absolutely!!!  I really only go to the web client to set recurring meetings with no specific time and no end time.

Terrible omission!!

I have a number of such meeting in my app now and am editing some of them for new uses.

Yes! My students keep changing their lesson time, and I can't be bothered to update my Zoom link every time! I just have a no-fixed-time link, and we use it any time they're ready. I decided to pay for a pro license for Zoom specifically for this feature, and for the chance to share my computer audio easily. If these 2 features disappears, I have no reason to stay with Zoom.

I sent a report just now saying I couldn't set up a no-fixed-time meeting. However, I just discovered that things have changed from the last time I set up a new meeting: I used to be able to set up a set-time meeting in the desktop app, then go to the web and modify it as no-fixed time. If I do that now, the new meeting I set up doesn't give me the option to change it as a no-fixed-time. HOWEVER, if I create a new meeting from scratch on the web portal, it does have the no-fixed time option!! I just don't understand why it's so difficult to make it a standard option...

This change has now been reversed, and "No Fixed Time" recurring meetings are once again appearing on the desktop client home screen. Thanks to everyone who complained.
