Getting Digital Signage Content to Display

Hi. I'm trying to help out with getting a display up on our TV using the Zoom app but nothing is appearing when we open the Zoom Rooms program on Windows and connect using the Zoom Controller app.

On the Zoom portal we have created a room and linked content that we want to display to that room. However, when we enter the pairing code on the controller app the TV just shows the Zoom start page.

Is there another code that we need to enter to link the content setup on the portal with the Zoom Rooms program running on our TV?

@oz1 If you have set up digital signage content in the web portal for a Room and then associated the hardware to the Room it should then be able to play on the display through the Zoom Room hardware.

It will depend on a couple of things:

  1. You will need to make sure the content is supported

    Image specifications

        • Format: JPG/JPEG or 24-bit PNG,1920px by 1080px
        • Minimum width: 960px
        • Maximum width: 1920px
        • Minimum height: 540px
        • Maximum height is 1920px
        • Maximum image size: 15 MB

    Video specifications

      • Format: MOV, MP4, AVI, WMV, or H.264
      • Maximum video size: 1GB
      • Recommended resolution: 720p or 1080p
  2. There is no activity in the Zoom Room. This means any ongoing meetings, active screen sharing, whiteboard sessions, or meetings coming up.
  3.  You will also want to ensure that Digital signage is enabled for the Room. You can see this in the web portal under the Room Settings, and Digital Signage. Here you can also specify how soon after a meeting the digital signage will begin playing and how soon before a meeting it will stop. If this is not a Room that does not have meetings this may not apply.

What type of content are you using?
