recording a voicemail message using "Record by Computer" - Help!

Hello,

 

I'm getting this message when I try to use the Record my Computer.. . "You need to use the latest modern browser to record audio prompt."

 

I cannot record my voicemail message to add to my asset library.  Help!  What do I need to do?

What browser are you using?  Make sure your browser has access to your computer’s Microphone or Headset for recording.

Ray's reply seems likeliest, though I suppose you might also be using privacy plugins that might be impacting the site? So if not a permissions issue and you do have those type of plugins, try disabling them and trying again.
