On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Twining a Zoom Phone with Single Phone Number

I want to have one phone at the office and one at home that I want ring at the same time; there would only be one phone number for both phones.

I have been told this is called twining a phone.

Does anyone know if this is possible with Zoom phone?

I have a Yealink MP56 and have not bought the other phone yet.

Any advice or commentary would be great.

hi visconsi,

Just add a second Desk Phone to your user extension.  You can one phone plugged into to your office network and one phone plugged into your home network.

Go to ADMIN->Phone System Management->Users and Rooms->User Settings->Desk Phone->Desk Phones->Add

Each Zoom Phone user can be assigned up to 3 phones or devices.
