On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Turn off call monitoring disclaimer

Hi! I wanted to know if there is a way to turn off the Call Monitoring disclaimer for inbound calls. I want to keep them for outbound calls. We currently mention call monitoring and recording on the custom greeting we have so we would like to remove the disclaimer on the inbound calls.

 

I could not find this setting and if not it should be included as a fix in future updates.

Hi! The call monitoring disclaimer prompt can be enabled or disabled for all the calls of the monitoring group. It is not possible to just enable it for outbound calls.

Yes you are correct but we have the recording in our greeting message so it creates a redundancy on the calls. It would be great if we had this option like we do when creating automatic recording settings in call queues < phone system mgmt. 

Since this is not a current feature in Zoom Phone, my recommendation is to create a feature request through Zoom Community or through your Zoom Account Executive.
