Has anyone been able to come up with a solution for people to access their voicemail without using a Zoom client and/or adding the enable callers to check voicemail? It would be nice to be able to call a phone number, enter your extension, enter your PIN and listen to your voicemail.

hi @Tom
it is pretty easy to check your voice mail by calling your phone number from any phone.
please see Zoom support article.
Checking voicemails over phone
is there a use case where you would like to call some other telephone number to get your voice mails?

Unfortunately this option would not work either.

Users do not want to call their own number, wait for it to go through the call handling cycle, then press 2, then enter their extension, then enter their pin to just check voicemail from a non-Zoom client. Plus, this then requires callers to press 1 to leave a voicemail.

Running into a very similar situation. Problem I see is, Zoom doesn't dedicate a number for your voicemail service. In order to get into voicemail, you have to dial an AR for dial by name or by calling your number that also must have check voicemail by phone. I tried utilizing a routing rule and couldn't get it routed into voicemail. I opened a ticket with Zoom support and they confirmed it doesn't work in this manner. Waiting on engineering to try and provide an alternative. On my ticket, I commented that dial by name and check voicemail by phone, take too long.

this feature only works if you dial your number and want to check by phone. I've come across a scenario where we have a AR configured that forwards to user voicemail only. If you attempt to dial the number assigned to the AR and the call is routed to user voicemail , no IVR ever prompts to check the mailbox.
