Participants images pulsating after update

After the last two zoom updates on my iPhone SE, when there are more than six participants their images begin to pulsate. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom and working with Changing various settings which I found advice about on Google, but none of this has helped.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, please?

hi @Peace3

Delete the Zoom Workplace app.

Open the Settings app.

Tap General.

Tap iPhone Storage or iPad Storage.

Tap Zoom.

Tap Delete App.

When prompted with Deleting "Zoom" will also delete all of its documents and data. This action can't be undone, tap Delete App.

Once completed, reinstall Zoom on the iOS App Store.

Note: Some cryptographic keys will remain in the Keychain and there is currently no way to remove them completely.

then download and install latest Zoom Workplace App for iOS.  As of 9/21/2025, the latest version is 6.6.0.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom application

Yes, thanks, Eliot. Version 6.6.0 Solved the problem. What a relief!
i’ve just turned off auto updates on my iPhone as I was a bit concerned that perhaps the next zoom update might cause the problem again. Do you think it’s necessary to keep the auto updates off?

I appreciate your advice
