Zoom android problem

Hi, I’m having an issue with the Zoom mobile app. In every meeting I join, the only control that appears is Unmute. I don’t see Start Video, Share Screen, Participants, or More, even when I tap the screen.

What I’ve tried:

My camera works in the Zoom preview before joining a meeting

Rejoined meetings

Updated to the latest version

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

Joined the official Zoom Test Meeting (https://zoom.us/test

) — still the same problem

Confirmed that hosts have not disabled video

Extra detail: If I switch my phone into split-screen or zoomed display layout, the controls appear. But when I return to single-screen mode, they disappear again. This looks like a UI scaling bug.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix, or will it require a Zoom update?

It sounds like a display scaling or layout bug in the Zoom mobile app. Since the controls appear only in split-screen mode, try adjusting your phone’s display settings (e.g., screen zoom, font size, or resolution) to default. If that doesn’t help, report the issue directly through Zoom’s in-app “Submit a Problem” option — it likely needs a fix in a future update.

Hello, 

We can confirm Zoom Android v6.6.5 will resolve this issue.  This version is in the process of being released to the Play Store.  Please update when it is available.
