Inbound Fax to Call Queues (Fax inbox)

With the new fax feature (very exciting!), I had a question:
I see that I can send a fax using a number assigned to a Call Queue, but it seems like I can't receive faxes to a Call Queue number. Is there a way to set up a fax inbox for numbers assigned to a Call Queue, or is fax receiving limited only to individual user numbers for now?

Hello @RBader – Call Queues should be able to send / receive it. Can you confirm that this setting is enabled for the Call queue in question?

I didn't realize that I need to enable fax on the call queue as well. Thank you so much!

 

For anyone who stumbles across this thread: You can enable this feature by going to Call Queues > [Your queue] > Policies.

Yes you can do this and it's how we solved our Zoom Online Fax conundrum.  Our peeps each have two numbers a Direct Voice DID and a Fax FID.. We're creating a "Sacramento Fax Queue" and creating an entry for each of our users FAX DID's in there. We then create an entry in the queue like John Smith Fax and assign his Fax DID to it. The trick is only assign the Fax DID number, don't add any members to it right below where you add the fax number. Then click Policy tab and there's a place right beneath Online Fax where you can add Members. Add the owner of the fax number and his/her secretary there. This way their fax never rings, but Faxes will appear in FAX area in desktop app.
