Hi, I teach via zoom and need to use a drum or rattle, when I do participants can not hear the drum clearly, it either cuts out some of drumming or the sound is dreadful. I have checked zoom settings and use the muscian on for sound but this does not make any difference. So if this is not sorted I will have to use some other platform.
any ideas to help make my drum zoom work ?

Can you confirm the settings within 'Original Sound for Musicians' that you're using?
Also, please confirm that your far-end participant is also using the same settings and that you've both manually activated the 'Original Sound' option once in-call.

Hello yes I do both things and ask all participants to do the same. I have now had to give up on using the drum/rattle as people complain. It is a shame that this does not work.

I have the same issue. I ask the participant to turn on and off original sound and noise cancellation on their iPhone, but I cannot hear their drumming at all. Please help me!!

My suggestion is ether you or the led have to prerecord something and direct them to the link. I have given up as I had so many complaints about people not hearing anything.

In addition to the audio settings in Zoom, every participant also would need to check the sound settings of their hardware.
Very often different hardware providers (e.g., the laptop manufacturer) also have their own noise suppression, speech enhancement technology built into the audio hardware or audio set-up on the device, that could suppress sounds like the ones by the drum.
